Chapter 25: Troublesome Woman

As soon as it got light outside, Li Yexing got up and carefully moved Lilith's thigh off of him. He braved the cold, climbed out of bed, and got dressed. When he went to the office, he saw that Chris was no longer there.

"I thought I was going to sleep until noon, but this is fine," Li Yexing muttered to himself. He freshened up quickly and figured that Lilith probably wouldn't be up for a while, so he didn't need to rush to make breakfast.

Feeling bored, Li Yexing sat on the couch where he had fought before, lit a cigarette, turned on the computer, and looked at the uninteresting news. Justice-seeking USA was still conquering everywhere, with reasons not much different from the past. They discovered that some country was secretly researching B.O.W.s and then invaded it to fight against biochemical terrorism and the like.

However, this time it seemed that they had encountered something real. They even provided a video of a strange creature that looked like a green lizard jumping around, with one swipe killing a US soldier. The soldiers in the video shouted "fire" and "retreat," looking very distressed.
