Guess you never noticed....

I walked in and said awkwardly," Hi."

Everyone was silent. I sifted from foot to foot looking down at them.

In the living room almost everyone was there. No Peter, no nat and no Loki.

I just looked back up and saw everyone looking at each other so I teleported to the roof and sat down.

I took a deep breath and got out my Ipod and turned my music on, put in my headphones and sat on the edge and looked down at my swing feet.

It was sundown and the sunset was beautiful. It looked like a pastel rainbow was painted on the sky.

I love the sunsets. They are so beautiful. But sadly they always leave so soon, the pastel rainbow soon turned dark and with that the moon started to shine brightly.

I love the moon and the stars, so as they come out I lay back still listening to music just enjoying the peace and serenity of it all.

I may have a hard life but these are the moments I want to live in forever and each time one happens I am more and more thankful for them, cause that means I survived to be able to live it.

That is the greatest blessing I could ever receive and I am forever grateful for everyone I get.

At this point the sky is covered with stars and I look at them for what feels like forever and let my mind wonder to the orphanage I lived in and the family that was there. 

I was 5 at the time and this night it was supposed to be a blood moon and I had no idea but Jocliyne knew and knew that me and Lilly LOVED the stars and the moon so she had a plan.

I was sleeping and all of a sudden I was getting shaken awake.

"What?, what? I'm up." I said waking and sleepy rubbing my eyes.

It was Jocliyne and she had a smile on her face.

"I'm going to get Lilly, because I have a surprise for you too. Ok ya?"

I nodded excitedly, waking up at the idea of a surprise. She got lilly carried her and holding my hand as she took us to the roof of the orphanage.

"Why are we on the roof  jo?" I asked.

"Look up"

I did as she said and was shocked

"Woah…"I smiled wide.

Jocliyne laughed and layed down Lilly on a blanket she must have brought up for us.

"Come on Aria come lay down it will be easier to see and easier on your neck." She told me.

I nodded and layed down then snuggled into her chest with Lilly doing the same on the other side.

Jocliyne showed us constellations and talked about the blood moon and later I fell asleep looking at the stars.

The next day when I woke up and went downstairs for breakfast I went straight to Jocliyne and hugged saying,"Thank you, thank you, thank you." Giving her a big squeeze.

"Hey, I made breakfast too, why don't I get one?" Jason asked, jealous.

"Cause this isn't for breakfast, it's for what we did last night, huh Aria?" Jocelyne asked me.

I nodded and went to my seat and sat down for breakfast.

"Well, what did you do last night?" Jason asked us.

"Do you want to tell Aria and Lilly?" Jocelyne asked us.

We nodded and started telling everything about the constellations Jocelyne told us about, about the blood moon, about how we got to get on the roof to see it all. Once we were done Jason was smiling at how happy we were.

"Well sounds like you had a fun night, and sounds like there will be an extra long nap today." Jason said. We all just laughed.

I laughed at that memory, Jason was right we took a 4 hour nap that day.

I had tears coming down my cheeks, cause I really missed my family at the orphanage. I was also happy remembering the good times.

I sat up to check the time to realize it was 9pm. I have been up here for 5 hours.

'Wow never thought I would stay out here for that long.' I thought I got all my stuff and walked to the door to ride the elevator to my room to go to sleep.

"My room please" I told J.A.R.V.I.S.

"Of course I miss."he responded.

"Hey Jar, how are the team? I mean I kind of vanished." I asked.

"Well, they asked where you went and I told them then they went back to what they were doing before you arrived." He answered.

I sighed, I didn't know what to expect but from what I was told I thought they might care a little more but I guess not.

The elevator dinged and I thanked J.A.R.V.I.S and went to my room. I realized I had some visitors.

"Um hello, how can I help you?" I asked.

"Oh Aria, we were worried we didn't know where you went once we found out you left." Nat told me.

"Oh, I just went to the alley way I was staying in before, I then went on a mission and got captured and then escaped shortly after and here I am on Nick Fry's orders." I told them.

"What happened to your teammates when you got captured?" Loki asked.

"Nothing I didn't have any it was a solo mission." I told them.

They had a look of shock on their face.

"They send a child on missions by herself?" Loki asked.

Me and Nat nodded.

"Ya it's not a big deal, I do them all the time I have been since I was 7 ½." I told them.

They nodded, "Well we will let you get some sleep, welcome back Aria." Loki told me.

I nodded and thanked them, then got in my pjs and quickly wrote in my journal, put it back in my bag and went to sleep.
