Hide and Seek

Kitty picked up the little girl and set her on the bed. "So, Lilly, would you like to play a game?" Kitty asked, hoping to try and cheer the girl up. Lilly nodded excitedly, "Yes! Yes!" Kitty laughed then closed her eyes, "I'll give you ten seconds to hide."

"1, 2, 3..," Kitty started counting as she heard Lilly happily running around to find a good hiding spot, "4, 5, 6...," Kitty heard her closet door close, "7, 8, 9, 10!"

Kitty jumped up and opened her eyes. "Ready or not, here I come," Kitty said then started to wander around her room. She knew Lilly was in her closet, she had heard the door and she could still hear Lilly giggling from it. After about 2 minutes of wandering, she opened the closet doors and yelled, "Got ya!"

Lilly laughed even louder, "You got me!" Her smile was so adorable. She had brown hair and brown eyes with a pink dress, and her smile just complimented her chocolate-like complexion.

But after a minute or so Kitty heard a knock on the door. Not knowing how the others would react to the new member, she quietly whispered to the little girl, "Stay in the closet." Kitty shut the doors and then looked down at her outfit, it was back to being rainbow. She sighed in relief and then opened the main door to her room. Standing outside it was Ragatha.

"Raggy!" Kitty said excitedly then opened the door wider for Ragatha to come in, "Come in, come in." Ragatha walked in and then sat on the bed, like a proper lady. Kitty envied her ability to not fidget when sitting. Kitty always ended up changing her sitting position every five seconds.

"So, Kitty," Ragatha said, "I was wondering if maybe we could go to the lake tonight. You know...and have a picnic...and dress nice." She began to stop talking and looked like she was daydreaming. She soon went back to saying, "Of course, only if you want to!" She giggled nervously.

"Raggy," Kitty said happily, "I would love to go on a date with you." Ragatha began to blush then quickly walked out of the room, "Tonight at 6 it." Then she shut the door to Kitty's room, once again leaving Kitty alone with the dead girl.
