Making my first house? Success!

We pretty much spend an hour question and answering. And in that hour I learned a little bit of who she is. I mean, this kid is always tricking me for some reason.

And the bad thing about that is she has a high chance of succeeding. Am I really that weak?

"I wonder how should I call you now. Like Kuya Juan? Nahh.. too ugly. Just kuya is enough. Hmmm.. Are you from the west kuya?"

Ahh, Ehhh? Why do... Eh? Did she just try to trick me to ask a random question again? Oy, you kid! You wont always trick me you know!

"Hehe, busted. But I'm kinda serious. If I'm not wrong only people from the west have name. close to that"

West?

Ahh.. that's for later.

One of the things that I've learned though is about this forest. It seems that this forest is quite dangerous at night. Like there are monsters appearing and will attack anyone on sight.

But if this forest is dangerous, how did this kid even get here. Why did she go into this forest even?

"Ahh.. Hmmm.. Well... I was kidnapped... by the Orcs yes! That's right! Then I escaped from them! Then, then.. I saw you... Yeah.. I think that's it.

Somehow it looks like there's something wrong with what she's saying but, maybe that's just me.

And, escaping from those Orcs? Just looking at how big those Orcs are, I'm surprised this kid was even able to escape unharmed. Well, I'm sure there's some circumstances around it.

Wait, isn't it afternoon already. It's maybe close to night and if that is true then we're quite doomed.

Even if we don't get eaten by those monster. We might die from cold.

"Wait kuya, It's my turn to ask right?"

Ohh.. Look at this kid. It looks like she forgot about the monsters that appear at night.

"Are you just saying that now because its my turn to ask? Am I right? I'm right aren't I?

No, just look at the sky, there's no sun anymore. It's way over there already. It looks like it's about to fall right. We really need to do something now!

"Hmmp! In the first place, why did we even go here? If we have just gotten to Jorvik we should have gotten there already but no. We walk randomly and...

OMG Ahhh.. This kid. Can't she just shut up about it. It's both our wrong anyway.

Hey kid are just going to ramble there nonstop? It's getting night already. Monster's gonna eat us if we don't move you know?

"Ha, eaten. Us. By the monster? Eaten? Heee? I'm not scared at all you know.

Oh now she look scared. In the first place, I'm just asking that we should move.

Okay, here's the plan. I will make a fire, that should be enough to keep those monsters away..

"Ha! Are you insane kuya! The will just attract the monsters you know! There are other people who have done that and get eaten you know. That's common knowledge about this forest already. You can only hide! Also, the smoke rising to the top might be seen by those Orcs you know!

I have no time to argue with her anymore I'll just have to agree to what she's saying right now.

Ehhh... Then.. No fire then. I'll just continue the other part of the plan.

"What's that plan?"

Well.. To make a house!"

"Ohhh, to make a house. That's awesome kuya! If we have a house then the monster will not see us... NO!!"

"If you make a house then they will see the house you know? Even if they don't see you then doesn't a house in a middle of a forest look weird even for monsters? Also, how would you even build a house before the sun sets? Do you even know how to build a house?...

Hay.. This kid really is enthusiastic. Even I properly considered something like that you know.

Don't worry about the house, I already know what to do.

Also, if you're that enthusiastic then just fetch some food for us you know.

I'm quite hungry too so that will really help

"Hmmp! I'm still dubious about the house you're saying but what can I do. Its not like Im not hungry too also. Alright! I'm going to get some food. If we die, it's your fault okay?

Looks like I was able to convince her with food. There's gotta be food here somewhere right?

Wait a second, didn't she say that it's dangerous on this forest?

Wait oy!

Little kid! Isn't it dangerous on this forest? You know, even by the day there are still wild animals here right!

"Ehh? Oh right, yes there are dangerous wild animals here but"

Hey hey, that's still wild animal you know. They're still dangerous even to a kid like you.

"You hey! Like I said! Stop calling me a kid! Well, if it's just wild animal, I can handle them you know Kuya?"

If she did survive going here alone and escape through Orc abduction unscathed then maybe she can really handle them but you know as an adult, I still have to put some care about that.

When I look at her direction again, she's already gone.

That kid!

Well, it's not my fault if you get in trouble there okay..

Okay.

Now, time to start this construction.

The plan is actually pretty simple.

I already have an image in mind on what type of house I am going to make.

I just need tools now.

I'm no engineer, yes but I did watch some on the internet about the guys who make survival houses for living so I some ideas based from that.

Actually when I came here. it's not like I wasn't ready at all. I actually brought some of my handy tools in my tool belt and technically my whole suit.

The main tool that I will use today is this. My multipurpose tool.

I call it "Lin 2.0!"

Well, it didn't help me that much in my original world because of how surprisingly Lin started to became so competent after I made this tool but, the real purpose of this is not really to be used on that world anyway.

Well, it did help me on regards to Lin but, still I know that I am going to another world someday so made sure that I always bring it with me. Of course for emergencies too.

Ohh yeah.. I suddenly have a nostalgia of the face Lin made when she heard the name of this tool.

That was funny.

Okay, back to work.

First is to find a good place to build the house.

Then, to dig.

This multipurpose tool of mine a.k.a Lin 2.0 has so many features to it that I put and which, one of that is the automatic digging function.

There's also many that can be used especially in the province where I live. Like cutting trees, digging dirts, destroying chunk of rocks..

hmm... I can't say anything anymore. Anyway it can cut, destroy and dig. All things that can be done using those 3 function can be done by this tool. There's some more simple function like measuring and such but that's not needed for now.

I made sure that this Lin 2.0 lasts too of course. I pretty much use titanium on this and graphene for coating which made it really durable. For the power, I just put some solar panel which I specifically researched to be 100% efficient to gain the most power.

I really put so much time into this baby and now I will be able to use it for the first time for it's intended use!

Back to the digging function. Because of its size I could only make it with the need to be assisted by myself but most work will be done by it.

For the plan of the house, I'm planning to make a house made from dirt. Sound like how a beginner in a certain game would build right?

Well.. I have no time so I can only do that. I just have to put some covering into it which I would do later on and it can be used as a house already.

I will just put the dirt accumulated at the back of this house then I guess that's ok for a one day house.

After I'm done with the digging.

Next is to cut two trees, the tree will be used as covering for the roof so that it only look like the tree just fell. That's should be perfect for camouflage. And the other tree is for the inside of the house. Even if I'm only making a one day use house, having a furniture inside will be nice right?
