My phone vibrating furiously and falling loudly on the floor woke me up. I cursed whomever was interrupting my first time sleeping late without being jet lagged in at least a month. When I picked up my phone, my irritation increased.

'Open the door,' Hannah's text demanded.

'Go away.'

'I have biscuits and gravy.' I fell out of bed, the covers twisted around my legs. I furiously kicked them off and jogged to my front door. Hannah handed me a Pyrex container as soon as I opened the door.

"Next time lead with the food," I suggested, stepping out of the way to allow her and Dean to enter.

"I shouldn't have to. I'm your baby sister."

"It's nine am on a Saturday. Lead with the food."

"Point taken." I took the casserole into my kitchen. Hannah and Dean sat on the breakfast bar stools.

"You all eating?"

"No we ate at home. That's all for you." I decided to forego the plate since the food was still warm and just ate from the dish.

"I missed this so much," I groaned after my first bite.

"Next time you can sit through mom and dad's interrogation to get them yourself," Hannah said, pulling one knee up to her chest. I moved to the fridge to get out a carton of orange juice.

"That good huh?" I asked while filling my glass.

"At least this time it was more focused on my career goals rather than when we are getting married." Hannah worked at the local floral shop which my parents deemed a waste of her marketing degree. She liked it, though, and was treated well. However, Mom and Dad only saw it as a stepping stone, refusing to believe that it could be something she would do long term. Dean, the perfect boyfriend that he is, was naturally supportive of whatever she wanted to do, encouraging her to do what made her happy. I'm pretty sure that it was a parental rule to insist that happiness won't pay the bills, something my parents were happy to reiterate. Since Hannah still lived at home and had minimal experience paying bills, I could see their point. On the other hand, Hannah had been putting a portion of every check into savings since she was in high school. When she was finally on her own, she'd still be with Dean, who was a journeyman plumber for his father. They were going to be just fine but better my parents channel their energy on her than me.

"Ready for your hot date?" Dean asked, changing the subject, trying to lighten the atmosphere.

"Maybe? I'm not really sure what to expect. I don't know the band we're going to see."

"Brady used to work at a camp every summer and I think it's one of his friends from there." Hannah picked up phone and started scrolling through it. "Yeah, Joey. The name of the band is Bank Note and awe, look what Brady wrote on their Facebook page." She held her phone out to me. Brady had commented on a post about the show we were going to be at.

'Looking forward to seeing you guys play. Joey, I've got someone I want you to meet,' he wrote. Butterflies took off in my stomach. Joey had liked the comment and replied, 'Can't wait!'

"Whoa, no pressure," I groaned.

"Joey is a nice guy, you'll like him," Dean assured me. "Brady's pretty excited about tonight. I have heard your name more times than I've said my own girlfriend's." My face warmed and I looked down intently at my food.

"You should have heard him last night," Hannah went on. "He asked at least fifty questions about what you like, what you don't like, etc. and I said, why don't you ask Sara? He got all flustered and bashful, trying to explain that he wanted it to be a surprise, planning this perfect date."

"She shot the poor guy in the heart. She was like, don't you think she'll think it's super creepy how you know all this stuff about her without asking?" Dean recounted. "He looked like she kicked his puppy."

"Hannah!" I admonished. She shrugged her shoulders.

"I was trying to catch up on Outlander and he kept talking." Hannah was serious about her shows. She'd hung up on me multiple times when I forgot about the time difference and one of her programs came on.

"You could've paused it," I reminded her.

"Or he could've just asked you."

"True. I was out with Lo most of the evening, though, so I may not have answered. I would've at least been nicer."

"He's fine. He's got the whole thing planned out. I'm pretty sure Dean got him all stocked up on condoms, too." Dean must have swallowed his spit wrong because at that moment he started coughing. I grabbed a glass, filled it with water, and handed it to him.

"I'm not sure I know what to do with that information," I admitted.

"Do you want to have sex with him?" Hannah asked. Dean's eyes got wide and he stood up, mumbling something about checking to see if a game was on TV.

"You scared him away," I observed. Hannah rolled her eyes.

"Don't try and change the subject. Do you want to sleep with Brady?" I took a deep breath, setting my fork down.

"Yes, I think so."

"You think so? What's the hang up?" Hannah dropped her leg down and leaned forward on the breakfast bar.

"I mean, we don't really know each other that well. It just feels really fast and I don't do fast and furious. I'm more slow and steady."

"Wait, are we talking about the pace of the relationship or the sex itself?"

"The relationship."

"Got it. I can see that. You went from him being your sister's friend to not seeing him for four years to dating."

"Is that what this is? Dating?"

"Yes, this is what kids' these days call dating. I know it's a new fangled concept but I promise, old dogs can learn new tricks."

"I just meant that we haven't established that's what we're doing," I explained. "We've basically just said hey let's go here and then we do."

"What exactly do you think dating is? I'm pretty sure you just gave a textbook definition, so I'm trying to figure out where your struggle is."

"Ha ha, yeah I suppose you're right. I guess I really am rusty at this."

"Good thing you have me," Hannah proclaimed, hopping down off her bar stool.

"Let's go take a look at what you're going to wear tonight." I pulled the tin foil back over the casserole dish and shoved it into the fridge before I followed her to my bedroom. She was already pulling out several items when I stopped her.

"I'm wearing a skirt," I informed her.

"Oh you are, are you?" she teased with a wink. I smirked and pulled out the denim skirt I was thinking about wearing. "Denim, really? Are you twelve?"

"What's wrong with denim? It's classic."

"Sure, for a church picnic. This does not scream 'fuckable.'" She rummaged through my closet and came up with a red plaid skirt that hit just above my knees. "Now here's what I'm talking about. Can't go wrong with naughty school girl."

"Alright, I'll concede to you there. Would this work with it?" I asked, holding up a black scoop neck top with lace sleeves.

"Yeah, that's totally fine. Do you have boots? Oh yep, here they are." She dug out my black over the knee riding boots. "Perfect. He'll want you face down ass up in no time." Fire hit my belly at the thought of Brady behind me, holding my hips while he pounded in to me. My thighs clenched as I visualized him reaching around with one hand and rubbing my clit. "Well my work here is done," Hannah declared. "Have fun tonight. I can't wait to hear all about it." She gave me a hug before leaving, Dean in tow. Once they were gone, I jumped in the shower, making sure the water was frigid.
