Chapter 3

There is a very loud noise coming from the mansion. A broken glasses can be heard from the second floor which from the same source of the scream comings. All the maids tremble among themselves inside the kitchen listening to the fighting between the two step-siblings.

No one in the house dares to reason or taking sides because since a new madam comes into the house, all of the house matters are giving to the new maiden to handle. Not only many of them being replaced they also will be punished if they didn't stick to their jobs.

The fights continue for several minutes until their young master shouting threatening the first young mistress and walk out of the room. With a door closed echoing, a plump boy can be seen walking down the stair with a smug face shows a snickering smile.

"No one is allowed to be upstairs! Understood?!"

With a harsh word, the plum boy instructed the maids. Walking out from the kitchen, the boy who is the second son called young master suddenly putting out his phone and heading to the garden outside the mansion. He felt very pleased with how rich her father is and ready to show off to his friends what are things that going to be his in the future since he is the legitimate heir who is the only son that his father has.

If all the things going as the plan, the company that his mother and grandmother fighting for might end up to his father which later will be hand down to him as the next owner.

The maids just watching their young master doing his own thing, this young master of them is really being educated with the wrong knowledge because all of the things that he knows are to bully and schemes his sister rather than studying and improving himself. Speaking of the young mistress from the first wife, all the maids will feel apologetic to this unfortunate girl.

This unfortunate girl had never lived with a better day since the new maiden enter the mansion. Knowing that their young mistress is timid and introverted, the new maiden always abandoned her making their master starting to forget his daughter's existence.

Just using today's fighting, for sure their master won't know about it because the new maiden and his son will prevent the young mistress from complaining or reporting the fight with all sorts of threatening. Even the maids were not spare by the maiden.

On the second floor, the young mistress who was already in her 18 was only able to cry miserably on her messy bed. Every day, her brother will come and finds fault with her by saying all the nonsense things that annoyed him which then starting the fight, and every time the fight will only end with her being beaten down. Although the boy is only 12 years old, his strength is already on par with Anna, with the plum body he has, Anna who posses a thin and small figure is no longer his treat.

Her room was being turned upside down by the little devil, every time both of them having fights with each other, this brother of her must come and mess with her room smashing all the things that he can find and reach to resulting in Anna getting punished by her stepmother.

There is no one siding her, even her father was blinded by her stepmother's words. For the past twelve years, all she had face was a disaster which makes her feel like living in hell. Grounding her every time she abides by the rules such as no eating in the middle of the night only makes her mental suffering.

Although her stepmother never physically abuses her, the level of the mental abuse was far awful from what she as a teen can bear. A teenager like her still needs love from her parents to help her in feeling braver and motivated when facing challenges in school.

Not only she is being ignored by her father, even her birth mother fully abandoned her. She still remembers how awful she feels watching her mother walkout from the mansion without turning back.

Even after she promised her father to always be a good and smart daughter, her father never goes out and brings her birth mother back. Day after day of waiting, Anna gives up and struggles to grow up faster because all she wants is her mother. The family that she has who once always lives with a smile vanished in a blink of an eye.

What makes she hate her father the most was when her father brought her new mother only after three months from the day her mother left the mansion. With grandmother beside her father, Anna just stood there quietly listening to all her father's instructions.

Compared to her cousins, Anna is the least favorable one which can be label as the hate one in her grandmother's eyes. Every time she and her family went to visit her grandmother, Anna and her mother will be isolated from other family members. No one knows why grandmother hated the pair of mother and daughter except the grandmother herself, father and mother. This not only results in her being ignored by her other cousins but also being look down upon just because she never had any position in the family.

After her grandmother left the mansion, Anna's father also went up to his office on the third floor living with her and her new stepmother. At first, the woman her father married always treated her with kindness, but after her father started to work, her new stepmother also started to change.

There is no more thing that she can buy as long as her stepmother opposed, no more entering into the kitchen for eating outside eating times which other than breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and no more watching television or playing at the playground.

Her stepmother started to monitor and restrict her from doing anything, and every time she needs to go to school, she was only allowed to bring a lunch box with no pocket money to be spent. At first, Anna reports her stepmother's actions to her father, but after being accused by her stepmother that she spends her money on the unnecessary thing, her father sides with her stepmother and agreed with her action which causes her to be beaten by her stepmother on the next day. The price of complaining to her father was unbearable which makes her started to become quieter and restrained.

She also started to lose her friend because her stepmother preventing her from playing together with her friends at the playground. Not only she becomes more afraid of her stepmother, but even the hatred that she has towards her father also keeps on increasing each day.

The day her father telling her that she will have another sibling is a day where she realizes that she will never have any position in her father's heart because the affection that Anna's father has kept on fading since her family was informed that the baby is a boy. Day after day Anna is only able to cry on her bed, she knows that her day won't be good after her brother comes, the more she thinks that again she will be abandoned by her father the more she distances herself.
