The panic attacks were more common now and Mauro was still reluctant to visit his therapist. Instead he would lock himself in his room or in his office’s bathroom. Tears would not fall but a clenching in his heart would want him to tear the skin from off his chest to unclench his aching heart. No matter how much he tried to swell the hurt in his being there was no healing.
