Chapter 104: Son Of The Dark.

As Kai and Elder Xieling approached the core region entrance, Kai noticed that the entrance's location differed from the last time he came here with Elder Liu.

They arrived above a mountain at the edge of the Inner Sect region. Elder Xieling brought out a golden token just like the one Elder Liu used, except that the one with Elder Xieling had a stronger aura around it.

Elder Xieling threw the token in the air, instantly shining brightly with a dark-golden light illuminating the space above Kai and Elder Xieling.

A dark portal that gave off an eerie aura appeared before them; this portal was the same as when Kai entered the core region with Elder Liu.

Elder Xieling wrapped her energy around Kai again, and before Kai could complain, he was dragged into the portal.

It doesn't take long before they appear on the portal's other side. Kai felt the air in the core region was thicker and heavier than the last time he came here, which confused him a little.
