Status Screen

Xen was very excited as the screen infront of him was the ultimate cheat code given to every MC in a fantasy world. He was mostly excited about it's functions, When compared to a game interface, the screen he could see in his mind was lacking many thing's.

There was no inventory option, no stats increase + option beside any of the stats, and no Quest option. Xen closed his eyes and started to meddle with the screen he tried to find if There would be anything related to these that he had miss, He tried touching with his hands while his eyes were close, He tried to concentrate on it, but nothing seemed to worked.

After some time of him investing this new screen, He discovered somethings. The screen would only open when he closed his eyes and concentrated, after a few times it was easier to open, as he was now familiar with it. The screen was very different from a normal game interface, it lacked many option compared to the game interface he knew of, Although it looked like a game interface, it only showed his current stats, traits and skills. There was also a «·» Option at end of the screen. When Xen concentrated on it a new screen popped up.

This was the most amazing part of this screen, Xen had experimented with it by concentrating on a book he was reading, then he closed his eyes and saw that the book was saved in the folder. It worked like a camera, giving Xen a photographic memory. Although he was a little disappointed that the screen was not a complete cheat, but it was still a cheat, that made Xen really happy, as this alone had given him many opportunities. After he was familiar with the screen and Memory Review he experimented by seeing how much Memory Review could store. He almost stored half of the library in those two days when the official's were gone, and to his surprise it was still not even 0.00000000001% full, that meant the storage of Memory review was much greater then any Super Computer back on earth.

Xen was currently in his room lying in his bed, with his eyes closed anyone who would've seem him could've thought that he was sleeping, but in reality Xen was reading a book from his Memory Review. He had found an interesting book in the Library, The title of the book was Basic's of Mana manipulation. It was a very old book with a few pages torn off.

He had already read the book, and was on the last page, Although some content were missing from the book, but Xen had a rough idea of how it worked. According to the book Mana was a source of energy. it was denser then most energies and was also in abundance, thus could be collected easily compared to other energies like Demonic or Spirit energies which were uncommon, and only present in certain places. Since ancient time's mana was used by many powerful sorcerers and Blade masters. Which made it a important resource for humans to fight against Other Races like Orcs, Elves and Demons Which were Naturally Born with long lives, Sturdy body and spirit affinity. Xen had also learned that Sorcerers were very rare in human's and were highly respected, As they were a powerful asset for the humans.

Mana was an energy, and energy could change from one form to another. The same principle also applied on earth, For example kinetic energy of rubbing your palms quickly would produce heat and change it's form. Mana could also be manipulated to change it's form into another type of energy, through chanting certain words or drawing a magic circle, both took a lot of time but the end result was marvelous, Mana could also be manipulated by surging and circling it inside your body, by doing so the body gains boost in physical attributes, this was mostly done by Blade masters, but for someone to manipulate mana, They first needed to have mana inside their body, all living creatures have mana inside their body, but only few could feel it, making it rare among Humans.

Those who could feel mana could choose to go two ways, one was to practice Swordsman-ship, and become a Blade master. Other was to become a sorcerer, which was really hard compared to blade mastery, and also very time Consuming as it took very long to cast a spell in battle, making the job really dangerous in a situation where they had to fight with trained knights, but in a war zone sorcerer's were very important, as they could do mass Damage to the terrain and troops. One big spell was enough for about 50 trained knights to be obliterated. They were the Power-House of a country, A countries strength was estimated by it's soldier's and sorcerers, as one High sorcerer was equal to 10,000 troops, but because of its disadvantages many choose to walk the path of blade mastery. Fathom kingdom was the biggest human empire, In both civilisation and Power, It had 7 high sorcerers, 25 intermediate sorcerers and over 50 infant sorcerer's in total, making it the most powerful human empire.

Xen was excited to see if he had affinity to feel mana, but it seemed that his luck ran out, as the pages containing how to know of one had affinity to feel mana were torn off, He could only figure ot from the torn text that it had something to do with controlling your breathing and stamina.

Although he didn't knew much it was still enough for him to experiment with. Xen smirked as he finally opened his eyes and said 'Let's go do some training.'
