"Holy shit… these are pretty good," Orion smiled.
The group stood in a circle around the treasure pile, each of them eyeing the stack of skill books, aware of the value they held. The golden coins beneath their feet shimmered, but it was the knowledge within these books that could shift the balance of power among them. With twenty skill books spread out, it was time to divide them based on each person's strengths and affinities.
Orion, always calculating and strategic, spoke up first, "We need to be smart about this. Take what suits you best, not just what looks impressive."
Aisa nodded in agreement, her sharp eyes scanning the pile. "I'll take what complements my senses and agility. We shouldn't waste time on anything that won't work for us."
They each began picking through the stack, their hands moving swiftly as they laid claim to the skills they thought would enhance their abilities.
