Magical consciousness (III)

"Get ready... I will soon get back what is mine."

Those were the words that echoed in my mind as I slowly regained consciousness again, although this time I felt a subtle change in me, I couldn't figure out what.

So, I slowly opened my eyes, what greeted me was the view of the living room with a large TV that was off in front, through its black screen I could see my reflection, which basically looked exhausted and tired.

I could feel my whole body drenched in sweat, from head to toe, all my clothes were wet in my very sweat.

"You did well."

A cheerful, proud voice made me turn my body to the side, to find Emerald grinning from ear to ear.... It was true! The creation of Magical Consciousness.

I didn't answer her, I quickly went to check my body internally with extreme concentration, closing my eyes to evaluate more optimally.

Basically nothing in me had changed, at least physically. Unlike before I could now feel a connection, a kind of thread pulling me to something or someone.... Possibly it was my soul that was more attached to my physical body.

And, obviously the big difference was that there was the mana orb in a space in my brain, unlike before which was light blue, now it was dark crimson, it was certainly a terrifying and imposing color.

The mana orb was also intertwined with my soul, feeling the intimate connection of the two parts. It was a strange but satisfying feeling, even more satisfying when that was a goal I had set for myself.

That's right.

Create my Magical Consciousness!

And apparently my mana is not a typical light blue color, in fact I didn't know that mana had various colors.

I opened my eyes slowly, discovering that Emerald was still there, though this time with a blank stare in the air, no expression on her face.

I didn't really care what he was thinking, so I directly jumped in with a question; "Can mana have different colors depending on its user?" I asked with curiosity and seriousness, this topic was important, apparently the mana I have is incredibly related to Crimson and black, one was obviously Chaos, death and the abyss, but.... What exactly was Crimson?

"Some people can have Mana of a different color than the usual, the difference is that those people are much more related to their element, making it very difficult for them to learn other spells that are not related to their element" He continued; "It is in a way very beneficial and also a great loss, depending on the person"

Emerald answered coming out of her dreamy state, her explanation was very clear and precise, but this scared me a little.... What happened to my Gravity element, why don't I feel it? Immediately when I asked myself this question, I closed my eyes and concentrated absolutely on the mana orb.

Staring more intently and concentrating more, inside it some transparent white particles were visible, that was my Gravity element, I sighed in relief, it's a very powerful element, I wouldn't want to increase the difficulty of learning it, more than it already is.

But another question arose immediately... What was this crimson mana? Even such a mana could overpower an Element of Law like Gravity and Case itself, so.... What was it?

But one thing was for sure, it was terrifyingly powerful, so I left it as it currently was. I didn't ask Emerald either as I consider it a waste of time, I could sense that she wasn't going to answer for any cost, that's what my keen senses told me.

*Crujir*.

So, with Emerald's expectant gaze, I got up from the couch, wiping the sweat from my brow.

"I'll take a shower, I stink."

It was true, I had just taken a shower, but I had already sweated so much that I urgently needed another one... Wait... Did I just take a shower?

"Emerald... How long has it been since I started the process of creating my Magical Consciousness?" I asked expectantly, I had certainly never asked how long the process took and for some reason from the smell of my body it was obvious that it hadn't been a short time.

Hell, even my bones crunched like potato chips being chewed.

"Lord Crimson, it has been exactly one full month since you entered the consciousness creation process."

Replied a voice full of reverence and respect, I knew that voice, it was familiar.

I turned around, to see Baron Crimson standing there with his two hands behind his back and in an upright position, he had an aura of professionalism about him, but that didn't matter to me now.... Why? Why?!

Why is it that every time he went into a state to gain more power I came out a long time later? I only spoke to my soul for about ten seconds, but it's been a whole month, another wasted time of my life.

It was frustrating, my expression became ugly and annoying, but I couldn't do anything, it's been a month and I can't go back in time to make the process faster, hell, I don't even know how to make the creation of consciousness faster.

"Mmm, thank you very much, Emerald, for all the information you have given me recently, and you too Baron, I am grateful for your teachings."

With a tone full of gratitude, I nodded my head, I really wanted to bow but my pride simply wouldn't let me do it, so I just nodded.

They looked surprised, wide eyed at my sudden thanks, the Baron quickly snapped out of this state, kneeling on the spot.

"You don't have to thank us, Lord, it's the least we can do for you" The Baron replied respectfully, Emerald immediately followed.

"That's right, you don't have to thank us for anything, it's simply our duty."

I simply nodded at his words, if I kept thanking them they are probably going to keep saying "it's our duty" or something similar, so I better not continue with the subject.

In fact, I never got to ask how long I was unconscious for my "training" with the Baron, but I don't care too much, it shouldn't have been that long, a week at most, since my bones weren't numb and I didn't smell as bad as I do now.

I quickly headed to the bathroom, taking a shower, there I checked a little more my new ability to feel the mana and I must say that, it is impressive, my sensitivity to mana increased ten times more than before.... Complete madness!

But unfortunately I couldn't test much of it now, I was really exhausted, so, I left the bathroom and went straight to my room, putting on some light sleeping clothes and so, I jumped into bed.

It didn't even take a minute before I would enter the world of dreams deeply.
