Throwback:First day at work

NOTE: The book is still explaining what happened in Natty's life in the past.It is still making reference to chapter one where she had a night stand with a mysterious person,so enjoy!!!

Ma'am we have arrived there,the cabman announced.

I got down carefully and gave him some bucks after that I walked into the company.Normally it was my biggest dream to work in the headquarters but a journey of a thousand miles begins with a step.

The sound of my new leather heels was heard as I walked in like a slay queen thanks to my number one fashion friend,Naina.

"You must be Miss Natrine Kana", the receptionist said.

" Yes ma'am am Miss Kana,I replied in very politely "

Ok ma'am you may seat the head of the painting and decorations but we call it designing, the receptionist said again.

Yes designing covers the whole painting and decoration stuff,that's nice to hear.

Yes and I am Alina Sharma,you have got a nice name Miss Kana.

Thanks, I replied with enthusiasm.

After sitting in the reception office for some time,a middle aged woman came in and I guessed she was the head of the designs department.

Everyone this is Natrine Kana,she will be working with us in the design department, the middle aged woman who I learnt her name was Mrs Hills said as we got in.

So Natrine here is Caden,a sourced and talented designer,he has and is still contributing a lot to the design department.

On the other hand is Frosh,the planner for this department.She said introducing each of them.

Nice to meet you all,I said with curtsy when Mrs Hills finished the whole introduction.

Few hours later,I was now used to the atmosphere and how things went on and it was so fun.

Soon it was time to have a short break.I was hungry that I heard my stomach rumble. I decided to go to the company's cafeteria to satisfy myself.

Soon I entered an elevator which was also making its way to the cafeteria.I had to use the elevator because I felt my stomach walls starting to kick me which made me feel pain but I knew the elevator still had to take some few people so I had to be patient.

The door of the elevator opened suddenly and a familiar scent that wasn't new to my nose entered into the elevator.
