The school reopened after the summer vacation. The students were stressed out as the second term schedules were tight. The time period for their PE classes and co-curricular were shortened.

Inside the art club, 5:35 pm

"When will that dumb Kotaro come? Did he go to the south pole to bring the cold drinks?" Haru said and let out a yawn.

"Hush! He has only left for five minutes." Sakura mumbled.

"So where did you go for the summer this year?"

"Huh? Oh yes! I went to Nepal. I went there with my parents." Sakura said aloud and in a very confident tone.

"Wow! Sakura… It must have been so cold up there. "

"Yeah" "It was snowing there."

"Wow! You are so lucky girl. My dad is always busy with his work. That's why it is rare for my family to go on a holiday. And we never think about going so far."

Sakura smiled to Haru's remark. Her eyes drifted towards the sketch book which lay across the table.

'Isn't that Zehan's?' Sakura rushed towards the book. 'He must have forgotten it here.'

"It's Zehan's right? He was sitting their earlier. There is a day that he forgot something huh?" Haru chuckled. "That book is his most favorite. He carries this book almost each and every day."

Sakura touched the cover of the sketch book. She was very excited and enthusiastically turned the pages of the book.

Each and every page of the book contained the painting of a girl. Sakura recognized the girl in an instant. It was Kiyoko. 'Why is that girl everywhere?'

Haru who was peering from behind Sakura said," That girl seems familiar."

Sakura took a deep breath to calm down. She felt a lump rising up in her throat. 'That girl'

"It's that girl. She is Zehan's cousin sister. We saw her on that karaoke night. Wow! My memory is not bad at all." Haru said enthusiastically.

Sakura clenched her fists.

"She is such a cutie. I was about to talk to her but that Zehan bastard stopped me. Gosh! She would have been my girlfriend by now."

"Shut your fu*king mouth. You are talking too much." Sakura snapped and threw the sketch book on the table with a thud.

Sakura was about to stride out of the room when Kotaro returned back.

"Cold drinks…!" Kotaro said aloud to announce that he has brought the cold drinks.

"Kotaro, you are finally here." Haru said and sat down on a chair.

"Sakura, Cold drinks?" Kotaro asked as Sakura passed him.

"No, I am going home." Sakura strode out of the room hastily.

"What happened to her?" Kotaro asked and threw a coke towards Haru. Haru caught the coke and sneered.

"She has gone crazy." Haru replied.

The placid lake mirrored the evening sky. The water was glistening beautifully beneath the light of the full moon. The sakura tree at the lakeside casted a dark shadow on the lake.

Kiyoko sat on the grass not too far from the waters enjoying the serenity of the place.

While Zehan stood by her side, occasionally throwing pebbles in the water, causing ripples on the water.

"So, you are planning to take part in that art exam."

"Yes I was but…" Zehan threw a pebble towards the lake.

"But..?"

"Actually if I get selected then I have to shift to Tokyo."

"So…?"

"I can't leave you alone here." Zehan said and sat down beside Kiyoko.

"What? Don't be such a dummy. I can live by myself. You are the one who always tells me that we should always work hard for our dreams to come true and now you are the one who is talking about giving away an opportunity that comes hard by."

"Alright Alright…! Lecture time over Miss Author. Of course I will take part in this exam or else Mom might skin me alive."

"Good. After graduation I had already planned to attend a college in Tokyo. So it's only for a year we will be separated."

"Okay, Miss Author"

"Stop calling be that."

"Why not, Miss Author…?"

"It's embarrassing."

Zehan caressed Kiyoko's cheeks with his hands.

"It's not at all embarrassing. You are a great writer."
