J'Zaki was prepared to head up the mountain the next day but was surprised when several Dora Milaje greeted him outside of his room in the morning.
This instantly caused the young prince to be worried.
'Have I been found out?'
But luckily for him, they were not there due to his plans being found out. Instead, it was for another matter. Vice-General Okoye greeted the young prince with a bow before explaining the reason they were outside his room.
"Greetings, young prince. The Queen-Mother has ordered you to remain in your room today and not go out for training. We shall be receiving important guests later and she wishes for you to be prepared to greet them at a moment's notice."
J'Zaki nodded, curious about who the guests were. He figured it was one of the families from the other tribes making an official visit.
'I wonder if the River Tribe is officially proposing a marriage between big brother and sister Nakia. Those two should just get married already. If they don't, I will lose the bet with Shuri.'
Since his plans to leave were delayed and he couldn't go to the training room, J'Zaki pulled out his pair of knives and did a few sets of exercises in his room. Since he broke all of the training dummies in his room and didn't get them replaced since he was planning on going on his trip soon, he could only commence a few rounds of exercise before he started doing some image training.
Something that even his teachers didn't know about J'Zaki was that he was able to perfectly memorize another person's fighting style that he has battled or seen himself. Even though he wasn't able to use it himself, it allowed him to study the style closely or set up mock battles like he was currently doing.
After dying to the combined efforts of all 4 of his teachers several times, J'Zaki heard Okoye knocking on his door.
"Prince J'Zaki. The guests shall be arriving soon. If you are done with your exercises, please take a quick shower and get dressed in some official clothing. None of that western stuff your sister keeps wearing."
"Yes, Vice-General!"
J'Zaki ran into the shower and took a quick one before changing into some more traditional Wakandan robes. The red robes really matched the aura he gave off as a fighter.
When he walked out of the room, Okoye looked him up and down before she nodded in appreciation. Under the watch of 6 Dora Milaje, J'Zaki was escorted to the throne room. Along the way, he met up with his sister who also had 6 bald women escorting her.
J'Zaki walked over to his sister with a smile on his face. The pair dapped each other before crossing their arms in greeting.
"Hey, baby sis. Still trying to find a way to escape to America?"
"Hmm, baby brother. Still getting your butt kicked in the training room?"
"How's that jet that ended up crashing last week?"
"Everyone survived. How's that stab wound that you got last week?"
"I survived."
The Dora Milaje heard the twins' comments and could not help but roll their eyes. The pair were competing on who was slightly less troublesome than the other.
The twins continued their war of words until they were right outside of the throne room. Inside, they could hear laughter from not only their parents but also several other individuals. It seemed as if the guests had arrived early so the banquet already started. The twins shared a look with one another before they pushed open the door to see who was inside.
"Announcing the entrance of Prince J'Zaki and Princess Shuri!" Okoye said when they entered the room
At first, they only saw the usual people. The members of the 4 other tribes that they had seen countless times before. Nakia was also off on the side flirting with T'challa. Or arguing. It was hard to tell with those two.
After looking again, they could see that there were 3 other individuals. One was a man wearing a western suit and looking like a traditional American. Then there was a woman wearing the royal garb of another nation. From the look of it, she seemed to be from Kenya.
Both of them had black hair and brown eyes. They were also extremely attractive. Now that this was said, it was their child that stood out.
The girl was a teen and she had inherited the facial features of both of her parents. She was extremely attractive to the point that J'Zaki had to take a few seconds before he could peel his eyes off of her. What stood out, even more, was that the girl had white hair and blue eyes.
Queen Ramonda looked at her two children and motioned for them to approach her which they did without question. As they walked through the room, the pair could feel all the eyes in the room were on them and it was like the room was getting quieter and quieter with each step that they took.
J'Zaki was able to overhear some of their conversation when they got closer.
"Once again, I have to thank you, Sister. I know how the Wakandan people are," the new woman said
Queen Ramonda shook her head, "Worry not. There may be those that disagree with me but as long as my family sits on the throne, your family will always have a place here."
The two stood in front of their parents and the trio before they bowed and gave a standard greeting.
"Prince J'Zaki, son of King T'Chaka and Queen Ramonda, younger brother of Crown Prince T'Challa, older brother of Princess Shuri, son of Wakanda, greets our honored guests."
"Princess Shuri, daughter of King T'Chaka and Queen Ramonda, younger sister of Crown Prince T'Challa and Prince J'Zaki, daughter of Wakanda, greets our honored guests."
The couple smiled brightly at the pair of twins that greeted them so enthusiastically.
"Hello. I am Princess N'Dare from Kenya. This is my husband David Munroe, an American. And this," the woman pushed her daughter in front of her. "Is my daughter, Ororo Munroe, your fiancee, Prince J'Zaki."
Shuri and her parents all chuckled when they saw J'Zaki's stunned expression.
