It was a few hours later that Alex found himself floating above the ocean.
His family had given him some...Interesting advice.
Shay had suggested he be a passive observer, one that manipulated things from the shadows.
Honestly, it was the most practical and efficient way to do things. But it wasn't his style.
Xavier suggested that Alex proclaim himself God-Emperor of mankind and forcefully unite the Earth Warhammer 40k style.
While it would be fun to walk around as a ten-foot-tall giant wielding a flaming sword, doing so would go against his moral code. HE didn't want to enforce his will on others if he could help it.
Though if he had no other choice he'd do so.
Chase's idea was the one he had taken to heart.
The idea was to create an enemy that all of humanity would have no choice but to rally against.
It was a grey area in Alex's moral code if he was being honest.
" Though at this point does it really matter? No matter what I do I'll end up being a hypocrite." Alex said to himself as he sighed.
His Moral code wasn't designed to handle something like this. To handle having so much power at his fingertips.
Alex slid a hand through his hair as he came to a decision.
" Eh fuck it. If it goes bad I'll just fix it afterwards."
Snapping his fingers the ocean rippled as something new was added to its depths.
There was a reason Alex chose to float above the sea besides the peaceful atmosphere.
Alex had originally thought to create a species of alien, maybe something like the xenomorphs or Predators , but ultimately decided against it.
Doing something like that felt so...Predictable.
So instead Alex took inspiration from the movie Pacific Rim.
While there won't be any Kaiju coming out of the ocean, Alex was confident the species he had created would be sufficient enough.
Sorry for the super short chapter today, it's all I had time to write.
Also if you'd like, leave a suggestion as to what Alex should do?
