Chapter 14: Party and Preparation - Falcon Part

After that, I never entered the game and I only sleep comfortably. I woke up with my alarm set up by me earlier.

As my parents instructed earlier during dinner, I took a bath and prepared the formal suit that we bought when we had fun in the mall.

I don't have a fashion sense so I don't know how I look and when I was about to leave the room to find a big sister to ask if my suit is good for me, someone opened the door from the outside using the keyーno, it is not a key but a lockpick!

I took my sword that is always below my bed and positioned myself to combat mode.

When the door opened, I saw the man who instructed us earlier for dancing, Falcon.

"Falcon, you are here!" I said as I stared at him with the face telling him, "Don't barge in with the lockpick to open the door"

He laughed and said, "Hellーthat looks bad!"

"Don't laugh at me!" I replied angrily as my face reddened.

"You looked like a handsome old man with that style of suit, you know? The suit is great and it definitely suits you but you don't know how to do wear it fashionably, right?" He grinned as my face reddened more.

"Haha! Don't worry! I can also teach you how to wear these things besides assassination if you start to call me "master" from now on!" He said with a funny tone while I looked at him with my eyes telling him, "Shameful"

"Fine, Falーno, master..." I said forcefully while slightly lowering one of my eyebrows.

"Then, come. Go in front of the mirror and I will help you fix this messy suit. It will ruin your looks if you have messy clothes, you know?" He said as he pointed to the huge mirror near the bathroom and I just followed his instruction and started to fix my suit for me.

He also explained details on what is the most suitable fashion for this era. He helped me understand fashion more.

If my big sister or brother answers me, they will probably explain it more in a complicated way.

"Done!" He said as he chuckles and pats my head as he continued, "Boy, you can get a woman at the party! I hope I can see the image of the girls gathering around you, there!"

"You sounds more likely my father than master! Plus, are you also going there, master?" I asked in curiosity.

"Yes, someone asked me to be his son. I will be there!" Master said as he laughed and I cursed the client in my head, 'D**n why the hell would that client asked to be the assassin to be his son?'

"Yes, there are metal detectors there and also there is also a machine that can scan what is inside your bag and see your belongings. I think it is an X-ray scanner" I replied and he said, "Then, what will you do to trick the metal detector?"

"Huh?" I said in confusion and continued, "For the metal detector, I have no idea. But for an x-ray scanner, interfering with the scanner using a metal or compound will work"

I am dumbfounded at first because I have no idea what he meant but suddenly, I realized that there are weapons that are made out of rocks and bones from million years ago.

"Bones are the best materials besides metals. But use the bone of a lion for more sturdy and hard property for the weapon" He said and since I wore a long type of sock, he pulled my sock and took a weapon. 'Daggers?' I thought as I looked at him putting the strap of 3 daggers behind my sock. I also noticed that the materials in the straps are pure leather, there are no metals but bones too.

"They are not noticeable because of your long black pants," He said as he looked at me. "I will temporarily give you this dagger until I teach you the survivability lesson of the assassins" He continued.

'Why do I feel so eager to learn assassination?!' I said in regret to myself.

"Then, take the sword with you, I sensed that your family is also bringing theirs," He said as I looked at him with confusion.

"Why would we bring our weapons, isn't it metal?" I said as I sighed and replied, "Don't misunderstand, your butler, Brutus, is one of the retired assassins of the organization I belonged to! He is quite famous you know?"

'That is why I always can't feel him at all in front of my door unless he knocks!' I said to myself in amazement.

"The suitcase that he brings for the family is not just for important things of your family but also weapons. Even if they put it inside the x-ray scanner, the suitcase itself has the metal that interferes and tricks the machine. Don't worry too much" He explained and I continued asking, "Then, why bring the weapons to a party?"

"Because of rivalry or arrogance. In this era, this is not known to the public but every company, big family, or even government officials has their aura manipulator! Like you! If they want to fight with you, they will fight you until one of you is injured, killed, or surrender, but that is most unlikely because it will be brought shame to the family or company if you surrender on a public match, after all. It is okay for duels in the [National Party] and the other officials, companies, and big families will have your back if you killed the other person. I remembered the last time where there is a war between Scott and Thompson families" He stated and I asked, "What happened?"

"The cold goddess, Lucy, and the warm goddess, Lisa are both always odd at each other. They can't withstand it anymore and they had a duel. Lucy is winning but Lisa who is still fighting despite having serious injuries still fought and Lucy accidentally killed her. That time, the Thompson family got mad and started to declare war against Scotts. But Scott has a lot of backup behind his back. In the end, Thompson declined greatly and became a minor family. Now, I think they got up again and became a major family again" He tells me as his eyes started to stare at my window, looking at the blank sky.

Knock! Knock!

Two knocks are heard by me and Falcon. "You should go, I will be there, okay?" He said as he jumped down the window and I left the room.

"Young master, it is almost time to leave, are you ready?" He asked as we walk down the hallway towards the living room. I gave him my sword from my hands and replied, "Well, yes. But I am not sure if these clothes look good to me!" I said in embarrassment.

"It is not, young master, It looks great" I am dumbfounded for a moment that I found out that Brutus is an assassin but I am also speechless that he just talked sweetly to me!

"Thank you, Brutus" I smiled with a satisfied expression. When I entered the living, they are all already there. They looked at me with amusement.

'Did brother finally got fashion sense?' Gaius whispers at the ears of my sister but I heard him, "You looked great Theo!" my big sister compliments and Rafaela is still speechless, "What's the matter?" I asked her and she asked, "Did you asked Falcon how to wear a suit properly earlier?"

I am dumbfounded and chuckled, "Yes, it is our first topic. Then we moved to the topic of games! HAHA"

Her face beet in red and said, "Sorry for misunderstanding"

"Don't worry about it!" I said as my parents' head tilted. They don't know a thing. Big sister Lily is clueless too.

"Well, since anyone is here already, let's go to the car already," my father said in excitement.

We just followed his instructions and when father told us that we need weapons, Rafaela immediately went back to her room to take her daggers and gave them to Brutus. As for me, thanks to Falcon, I don't have to come back to my room and take my sword in rush.
