Prologue

31, Dec 2122

On a suspension bridge, a young man stood looking over the horizon; with a weak smile and closed eyes. Relaxing as the sunset made his face glow in orange light.

He took a deep breath and carried a piece of rock in his hands tied to him.

He tried to walk forward from the edge of the bridge, but at the last minute, he trembled in fear and took a step back. If people cared, they would have shouted, 'Are you going to jump? Let me record that' and stalled him. Unfortunately, none cared, going on their way in this busy, selfish, greedy world.

He opened his eyes; anger, and sorrow evident on his face, as he placed the rock at the edge and sat down. He tapped at a pin-like device on his wrist, which is a button-size device stuck on his skin.

A holographic screen spurted out and showed a digital clock. 20:26, one more day to go before his sister dies. Thinking of his Sis his eyes moistened as he swiped at the holographic screen, making the screen show a picture of him and an older girl.

A full-blown smile graced his face as he looked at the girl who put her hand around his neck and ruffled his hair, pulling him towards her. Everything in their life, while not perfect, was joyous. Until…

'Until that bastard….' The man gritted his teeth, but he is too weak, and the man is too powerful. There is no way for revenge, there exists no cure for his sister. He had already made arrangements for his sister's funeral. That is how serious it is. No one can cure his sister the doctors were 100% sure his sister will die, miracle or not.

He stood for a long while. Even when the sun disappeared as the moon took over. Even when there was a minor accident on the bridge with people shouting at each other. He didn't care; lost in recollections …of the sweet memories of his sister.

'Forgive me, sis, I will die before you and wait for you in heaven' the man closed his eyes; this time he didn't tremble or waver he pushed the rock from the edge. The rock fell fast and the rope became taut for a second before pulling him along.

'Papa, Ma in next life, I will repay your grace' the drops of tears fell from his eyes as he felt himself being pulled through the air like a bullet. Before he even register it, he hit the water surface hard, most of the bones in his body broke and the rock tied to him made sure to drag him down and drown him.

His already weak body crashed against a sharp rock underwater, and the rock went throw his chest, killing him for good. Surprisingly the young man still is conscious, even though barely. His weak eyes are barely open.

'It hurts~' that's the last thought as his eyes closed of their own accord. Everything is calm around him as he closed his eyes; the water is dark and murky but the blood of the young man is slowly spreading in the water, drenching the rock.

Even if he died, he probably would never be found again in this place. He never left a clue about his suicide. His body may rot, became food for the fishes and finally, even his skeleton became covered with seaweed but even then people probably would not find his remains.

Then the dark, calm, murky water stirred with the rock as the center. The rock glowed through the thick vegetation covering it, but that's not all. The rock began to shake as the seaweed and stones began to fall off them. Then with a bright glow that blinded everything around, the rock disappeared…
