Fatty let's team up

Really Jon can't believe his luck, just when he worried about a lack of range weapon someone come tumbling over, carrying one.

While it didn't have the range of a bow, a crossbow has more power.

And because of the short range of the weapon, they will stand closer and it would be easier to help each other.

Jon was going to land a strike but froze remembering that he can't attack a person unless threatened.

And the fatty who came over certainly didn't threaten him anyway yet.

"What are you dallying for? Finish him quickly" Mia frowned as she saw Jon stopping mid-attack.

As for why she didn't move to attack the fatty on her own…the bow and arrow are not the only things she forgot, in her desperation, she left her dagger back there as well.

So now she is really armless, but the fatty seems to have a sword, which is better suited for her as a tank.

Jon tried to think of an excuse when the system decided to intervene.

Seeing this Jon had only one thing to say, 'why are the rewards so pitiful?'

A single berry can heal at most 2 to 3 points of HP. But he is more interested in the 3 mushrooms.

It is the first time the system is introducing to him a new item.

'System, what is a mushroom for? Don't tell it is just for eating' Jon asked suspiciously.

"Hey, bro. you look to be in your last leg" Jon slowly said to the fatty who had long since given up and awaiting the pain.

Hearing Jon speaking to him, he raised his head again, confused.

'Don't tell me he likes to chatter with me before killing me?' Samrex in his years of gaming had seen many kinds of gamers, people who like to talk before killing their enemies are nothing new.

They would constantly spam the chatbox but that was still within a reasonable range as they can't both move and spam at the same time, with technological development and VR they would not need to worry about and can speak as they moved.

'But if he is willing to talk, I might delay it until I get a chance to escape, they both seem to not have any range weapons, so if I ran quick enough they can't easily harm me' Fatty quickly planned.

There are many ways the plan can fail like what if Jon decided to throw his knife at him, or what if one of them is a better runner than him?

But Sam can't predict each and every scenario since he knows nothing about the players.

"We both have partied, as you can see she is a tanker, while I will be rogue cum melee" Jon slowly pointed at Mia who is frowning at Jon's action.

'Just finish him damn, why are you dallying for?' Mia cursed when Jon began to talk about their party.

Sam on the other hand had other thoughts, 'Wait, is he trying to steal my viewers?'

Sam doesn't know how many viewers he had; in fact, he will rate the game only two stars just for this.

There is not even basic steamers interference not to mention options to send rockets.

'Did he know I'm a famous streamer? Is that why he is dallying for? To attract the viewers to his channel?' Sam already started to think that Jon is a rival streamer.

Samrex is dumbfounded, and Mia is dumbfounded as well.

Mia had this weird feeling that her thought will become reality.

"Why aren't you sending the invite yet?" Jon asked, making Sam realize the matter.

'So he isn't the boss here, then why did you speak first like the leader' Sam complained turning to Mia.

"What are you asking me for? Did you ask me when you decided to add this fatty to the party?" Mia humped turning away.

Realizing it is indeed a mistake to not discuss with Mia his plan beforehand, Jon quickly tried to compromise her.

"Hey, don't be like that, isn't three better than two? Besides, I'm not good at aiming"

Mia didn't argue with him and refused to send the invite.

She didn't plan to do so from the start, she just wanted to argue with Jon for the sake of it.

As for his words, Mia agreed, that three is better than two.

When the time comes and the team breaks, she would not be attacked from the get-to-go as the one would be weary of the other.

Sam got the invite and added himself to the party; Jon got the reward as soon as Sam accepted.
