Instructor Alice

On reaching the garden, they were brought out of their own word by the awkward cough that sounded behind them, Julie who was flustered immediately let go of Arius causing him to fall on his butt,

"i suppose tardiness is one of your traits, hmm?" Alice said as she scribbled something in the tablet she carried around, she by-passed them and after giving them one last side glance she said

"come along now, we haven't got all day".

After she was a reasonable distance away from them Julie whispered to Arius and followed hurriedly "this is all your fault", Arius who was confused with what she meant was left speechless, he didn't know Julie had been waiting in front of the simulation chamber for a while gathering the confidence she needed. But him being ignorant of this decided to put those matters to the back of his mind and drag his sore body behind.

He three of them reached a place with some kind of shed, a patio if you will but without the house, where they met the remaining members of the team; jane, David and Michael. Were already seated under the shed,

"well now that we're all here, I believe we should begin with some introductions no?, I'll start, my name is Alice hill, my personal life is of no concern to you and I will be your personal instructor for the next three years or so, I detest tardiness",

she paused and allowed her gaze to linger on the most handsome face amongst the group, however whatever reaction she expected to see wasn't there, only the indifferent face and a slight bored expression could be seen,

"carrying on, if you have any questions regarding the academy or help par-adventure to overcome an obstacle or roadblock in your cultivation, you can always come to see me".

she finished with an award winning smile that caused David's heart to pound faster than if he was under a vi enhancement.

Not wanting to miss the chance to win favor in Alice's sight, David immediately stood up and began introducing himself

"My name is David Gofreet I'm 16 years in age,I'm the son of Silas Gofreet, the owner of EIR pharmaceuticals. I recently became a stage two enhancer, I'm very strong and I use a massive hammer as my weapon of choice, but I could also use a shield and double as a tank, I'm really strong yunno, hehe, and I'm also single, no relationship whatsoever, I also like dogs, I in fact once had a dog, his name was buck, he was-",

he kept going on and on causing the faces of everyone to twitch a couple of times before MIchael was unable to take it any more

"Enough, nobody wants to know about your whole life story"

Realizing how he got carried away, David nervously apologized while rubbing the back of his head,

"sorry"

"My name's Michael kruk, I'm an agility type enhancer in the second stage, so i specialize in the assassin class"

" I'm Jane Hoffer, 15 and the genius of this generation and a very powerful first stage flame type conjurer", Jane said while puffing her chest outwards while having her hands on her hips, seemingly wanting to appear strong whereas it just looked comical.

"Julieana Hoffer, I'm her twin and a second stage ice type conjurer". Alice was surprised by the sudden change of Julie's attitude earning an eyebrow raise, before she was looking like a shy kitten, now she was standing with all elegance and exuding confidence.

It was a sudden change that caught her unaware, but was also a noteworthy trait, initially she had thought she might a liability to the team but it seemed that wasn't the case. Now everyone was looking at Arius who seemed in thought looking at the flowers in the garden.

A couple minutes earlier, Arius who was bored listening to David's introduction bowed his head and decided to try again at activating his new ability, this time instead of directly jumping to 'creating' / scribbling as we call it, he first pumped vi into his eyes,

immediately he did he noticed how the vi around him was more than usual, as he moved his hands he noticed they also moved. Now with all concentration, he tried twirling some vi particles around his wrist and to his surprise it worked, and surprisingly he felt stronger, unbeknownst to Arius he had just drawn the basic Strengthening rune around his wrist.

Still amazed by what was happening he attempted to try something else, but before he could continue, something hard slammed against the crown of his skull throwing him out of concentration and disrupting the vi he was using to strengthen his eyes.

"Would you rather be somewhere else, Mr Arius",

Alice said as she smiled creepily while withdrawing her arm holding the tablet that had just brought Arius back to earth.

With the most gentlemanly smile he could muster, Arius apologized and began his introduction,

"Arius Fiel, assigned captain of trainee squadron 3, pleasure to meet you, instructor Alice"
