Chapter 6: Crush

Erin POV 

As class starts, I listen to the teacher's discussion and write down notes while listening. As I was writing, I felt like someone was looking at me, so I looked everywhere inside the classroom and looked at my classmates, who were very busy taking notes. I just shrugged my shoulders and started writing and copying notes while the teacher was discussing.

Time passed by, and the bell rang, and people started getting out of their seats and going inside to go to the cafeteria to buy their foods. While I fix my things and put them inside my bag.

And look at my best friend, who snuggles her arms around mine. And carried me outside to go to the cafeteria. I look at her, frowning, when I notice her smiling like an idiot.

"What the... Why are you smiling like an idiot?" Instead of answering me, she just smiled more wildly.

"You're totally crazy," I said to her while on our way to the cafeteria.

"You know, best friend, I'm just happy for you. Because finally, my dream has come true," my best friend Remi said, smiling and poking my waist.

I just glared at her and frowned. We get inside the cafeteria, which is crowded with students. I even got squeezed by other students buying their own food.

"Gosh, so crowded," I said, murmuring to myself. After I buy my own food, I look away while waiting for my friend at the entrance.

I look at my friend, who's coming on my way after finishing buying her own food, and look at her.

"You're so slow," I said to her as she got closer to me.

She rolled her eyes at me.

"Duh, you know, it's so crowded; they didn't even line up to buy their food. They even squeezed me," she said at me while opening her food and eating it.

And then she suddenly smiled at me, giving me goosebumps.

"Ahem, you know what I've heard," she said, smiling from ear to ear at me while poking my waist.

I've glared at her once again.

"Stop okay. Don't talk when your mouth is full," I said as I bit on my burger, opened my yoghurt drink, and drank it.

She winced before fully eating her food and drinking her juice.

"Well, here it is. You know, while yesterday I'd heard the other students that the SSG President has some he likes, Luke, oh my gosh, he's so perfect, where every girl dreams of him and fantasises about him," she said while daydreaming.

"So? "I said to her while eating my burger.

"Eshh. By the way, you know what I've heard the most. Because after we parted ways, I saw Ms. Eyes and had a lot of things to do, so she gave me the paper, which I should give to the council on Mr. President."

She continued talking. As I listen to her 

"And you know what? When I get into the student council room, I'll hear your name. I thought I just misheard it, but the secretary and vice president really talk about you, so I hide myself and hear more. And I found out that the President really has a crush on you, like, Oh my gosh, my friend, the President likes you," she squealed on me, jumping like a child.

"So? I do not care if he likes me, okay?" I said to her and walked towards our room.

"Esh, you're so cold. Are you not happy that someone started to like you?" she said, asking me.

"No, I'm not happy; okay, I just want to have my peace," I said, getting inside our room and sitting.

As the bell rang, the teacher had already gotten in, and the discussion started.

I'm so glad that she stopped talking about it and just listened to the discussion.
