It was nice playing with you

After some minutes, Danger then opened another bottle and took a new sterilized injection she put the antidote inside and injected it into Maya. She injected her four times then she started pressing on her chest like the one who was giving first aid, but Maya didn't respond. All this while Danger was trying to revive Maya whilst she was still lying on the bed, which she realized could have been the problem and limitation. She then dragged her down to the floor, took the stool that she was sitting on earlier, and put both Maya's legs on it so they could be slightly leveled up. She then continued pressing on Maya's chest, after a few minutes she then removed her legs from the stool and made her lie straight on the floor, pressed her chest, and then followed the mouth-to-mouth procedure. She did it for a couple of minutes, then Maya suddenly opened her mouth chest up, and gasping for air, she was back to life. Danger quickly took another bottle of antidote and then poured it into Maya's mouth then left her to lie down.

(Sitting on the floor next to Maya) "Phew, damn it Maya you almost scared the hell out of me you know," she said after a deep sigh.

Maya's breathing was so low, it was like she had died minutes ago and was revived.

"I hope you have learned your lesson, anyway, I have given you the antidote for the poison, you will be fine but then with how you reacted, I think you better go to the hospital. I will call an ambulance after cleaning your mess, don't try anything funny if you don't want me to blow your brains."

Maya didn't respond, Danger went on and quietly searched for the cleaning utensils which she found in Maya's bathroom, she cleaned the floor, changed the sheets and blankets, and then went on to put the dirty ones in the washing machine.

"Everything is perfect now, I wanted to help you call the ambulance but I think after another hour you will have the energy to do that. What I am going to do now is to mop all my footprints as I go out, may you live but if that doesn't happen, we will talk in hell." Said Danger as she mopped her way out of Maya's house.

After that, she quickly went to where the van was hidden.

"Hacker let's get out of here."

"You exceeded our time limit why?"

"Long story mate, long story."

"Then you are a dead woman," said Hacker wagging his head as he sped the car.

"Don't even go there bro," said Danger as she removed her mask as well as the black clothes (she had another layer of different clothes that she was wearing inside.)

Hacker was driving like a mad man; within a few minutes the car was out of sight and they headed to the second base where the other team was. They took their cars from there and they all went their way to their homes around 3 am. On the other hand, after an hour Maya managed to call for the Francis hospital ambulance, and within 10 minutes it had arrived at her place, which even woke her kids who were in deep sleep as well as some of her neighbors. She was taken to the hospital and then one of the neighbors she was close to volunteered to take care of the kids, and after all the arrangements, Maya was rushed to the hospital.

The following day, during the afternoon Maya was transferred from the emergency room, she was recovering very well, and she even had a minor operation to remove her appendix which seemed to have been damaged. Later when she woke up doctor Scar came to visit her.

(Struggling to speak) "I…I…am…like…this…be…because…I…he…helped you…I…was…poisoned…"Said, Maya

"I see, these people let you go because they wanted me to receive the message, I am very sorry I didn't know that things will end up like this. I can't promise you much but I will see how I might be of help." Said Scar and then left Maya's wardroom.

That afternoon doctor Ed received a call from an unidentified number.

"If you fail to do as you are told, you are going to end where Maya is or even worse," said the caller and then hung up.

The caller didn't give Ed, the time to respond to the call, even when he tried to look for the number on his dial log it was empty. Well, before doctor Ed was reluctant to do as he was told because he had talked with the higher-ups the previous day but they refused to go back on the decisions, which they had made. Besides, how could a top doctor like him eat his words and claim that it was only a misunderstanding, that was never heard of? His words and excuses were not convincing and the higher-ups were not going to just give Flora her job back just like that. However, after the call, he immediately called for a meeting and threatened to resign if Flora wasn't pardoned, that is when the higher-ups then considered what he had said. They couldn't afford to lose a doctor like Ed, as much as he was so prideful and arrogant, he was the first best doctor that Francis had ever had. That is when the higher-ups decided to give Flora her and also suspend Ed for two weeks and his salary for that month was deducted by half. These events were then reported to Anne by their Plant that they had secretly put in Francis Hospital. After receiving the news Danger was then summoned by Anne. She arrived at 3 pm and found Anne looking out of the window and Ghost was sitting on a couch going through some papers.

(Standing close to the door) "THE…" Danger couldn't finish what she wanted to say she received four slaps one after another.

It was hard to say how and what time Anne had reached where she was standing, after giving her the four slaps she dragged her by the collar and pushed her to the ground such that she hit the floor with her bums. Then she forcefully kicked her in the chest and she fell hitting her head on the floor. Anne kept her foot on Danger's chest and looked down into her face.

"Majory Jones (Danger's real name) Do you have a death wish?" Asked Anne.

"NO, THE MIDNIGHT," said Danger with a voice that didn't have any proof of pain.

"Good, do you know what you did wrong?"

"YES, THE MIDNIGHT."

"Go ahead I am listening."

"I ALMOST KILLED MAYA AND ALSO EXCEEDED THE TIME LIMIT OF EXECUTING A MISSION." Said Danger, still lying on the ground not struggling or flinching.

(Frowning and pressing her chest with her leg so hard) "Wrong answer."

"I EXCEEDED THE TIME LIMIT."

(Pursing her lips, raising her right eyebrow and nodding) "Mmmh, so you know. Ghost bring the antidote." Said Anne.

Ghost brought a black plastic bag that contained a small bottle inside.

(Removing her foot from Dangher's chest) "Get that and anonymously deliver it to doctor Ed, mess up again, (looking at her with dark and cold eyes) and you will join Maya."

(Kneeling) "I HAVE FAILED MIDNIGHT AND I APOLOGIZE."

(Clicking her tongue) "Get out," said Anne as she left for her room.

Danger stood, received the package from Ghost paid her respects, and quietly went to do as she was told. She got to the hospital where she secretly went where Ed's car was parked and hid the bottle beside the car's wheel. Then Ed received another unidentified call again.

"It was nice playing with you, the antidote is under your car, it's up to you to go and check or die." The caller didn't give him time to talk back or ask again, the call was dropped.

Doctor Ed was in his office clearing his table when he received the call, he rushed outside to the parking lot, went straight to his car, knelt, and found a black bag beside one of his front tires. He went on and picked it up, inside was a bottle that had a colorless substance. He felt like he was tricked because the contents looked like water. He opened it and tried sniffing it but he couldn't perceive any smell. He headed into his office, he then thought of testing the kind of poison that was in his body. He drained a little of his blood and tested it but he couldn't find anything, he went on and peed into one of the hospital's small containers that are used to collect such things. He went ahead and tested the pee but there was no trace of the poison. Now he was battling with his mind if he should take the antidote or if he was just the fool of the day who allowed someone to mess with his head. He then decided to check Maya's report and it also stated that the poison wasn't able to be traced. He then decided to just take the antidote though he had no idea if it was going to work or not. He even tried to test the antidote but all was in vain. On the other hand, there was something weird about the antidote, it had two different tastes, that is it was bitter and sweet at the same time. He was so confused; he had never encountered something like this before and he vowed never to mess with this kind of people again, they had even managed to beat science and made a fool out of one of the most popular and best doctors in the country.
