Everyone sat down as we all sat at breakfast. I couldn't stop looking at Linda as she looked back at me. I hoped she would keep her mouth shut.
I glanced at my mom, who kept smiling at me every second, as if she noticed I was worried about something. As we started eating, I felt like everyone should just hurry up and go to sleep because I was feeling a bit tired at the moment.
"So, Auntie, where did you say your husband's do again?"
I looked at Linda when she said that, feeling angry to the point where I wanted to hit her, but my mom just looked at her and spoke.
"Well, my husband isn't here in the city because he didn't come with us, but he's at work at the moment and he's a very busy man."
I kept looking at Linda, and all she did was smile at me.
"Wow, that's nice, Auntie. Your husband is one lucky man, and he must be rich as well, right?"
