Letters

After Dorian left, I was anxiously waiting for Kaserin, even though he was on the Empress's side he was the only one I could rely on in this moment. If he didn't come back any sooner I would go out an look for him. I couldn't be any more anxious. 

Another knock came, I thought it was Dorian so I opened the door, but instead I was greeted with Kaiserin's figure, his cheeks were pink, the cold was bitting on his face. I gave him space to come inside as he brought in wood and clothes.

"Liselotte, you can change into this. Even though it's peasant clothes you'll feel better than your usual day to day clothes."

I nodded and grabbed the clothes and proceed to go to the bathroom to change. It was a nightdress, it was breathable, long, and with simple embroidery. It was in good quality, considering it's a commoners night dress.

As I went outside I was greeted with Kaiserin writing a letter. He soon noticed me and started speaking "Wow, that really suits you!"

I smiled nervously before I see the three long pages that Kaiserin wrote "Who are you writing too?"

Kaiserin looked down at the letters before looking up at me "Oh wouldn't you like to know?"
