Bear No Will

I read more of the book. It's all about a philosophy about God. Could the original version really could kill people? Even so, it begs the question that lingers in my mind: how did reading a simple book about God kill you?

When I finished reading a page and was about to flip it, I heard voices. I recognized one; it was Kaiserin. He sounded irritated, but he seemed to be still trying to keep his composure.

It sounded like Kaiserin took a sigh before speaking, "So, the Empress is still desperate for Bertha's abilities. Is she not satisfied right after achieving the Nyxian Evanmator? She may be the holiest person, but the people are still not blind to her wicked actions."

A male voice that I did not recognize soon began to speak. "Kaiserin, your mother is never satisfied, you of all people, should know this fact."

Kaiserin replied, "I suppose you have a point. Anna is taking too long to reply, and I'm worried something happened to her. Should we check up on her?"

There was an awkward silence before the unknown voice started speaking. "She's still in that damned mountain? I knew better than not to let her go! What if that damned woman Liselotte did something to her? She may be her friend, but Liselotte would stop at nothing if she found out what Anna has been doing."

Kaiserin chuckled slightly before replying, "I'm also afraid of what Liselotte could do. She changed, though. Her attitude changed all of a sudden three months ago."

The unknown voice replied immediately, "Don't fall for it, Kaiserin! She always tried to change her attitude to appeal to your tastes. She's always going to be the woman going after your title."

Kaiserin didn't say anything after that. However, another voice joined in.

"Crown Prince! Lord! Liselotte went missing, and her father requests a meeting with you regarding her disappearance!"

The unknown voice answered back, "Kaiserin, you should go. I'll start looking for Liselotte. A gut feeling makes me believe that Count Pavel wants to talk only to you."

Footsteps could be heard, but they slowly disappeared.
