Time passed after Draco woke up. He ran through the trees leaping through the branches at great speed as he hurried to get home as fast as he could so as not to worry his brother and sister.

As the day was ending and the night was coming in, he didn't want to take any chance of being a hypocrite to yell at Gin for being late, and the day after, he would do the same. when he arrived he saw Rangiku waiting at the door with a worried face.

Rangiku walked back and forth, the sun was already setting on the horizon, but neither Ryujin nor Gin returned home. she became very worried and prepared to leave in hopes of finding her two brothers.

She knew Gin always disappeared. But, Ryujin never disappeared like that. he would go out during the mornings before sunrise every day, but would return before she and Gin woke up around 9 am. this she knew, since sometimes she would wake up early and not find Ryujin at home

At first, she was worried where Ryujin would run away every morning. But, she never asked him, as she wanted to respect his privacy.

She had in her hands an orange and some dried persimmons. at two, they were the fruits she liked best and had meaning in her life. It was the fruits that represented her meeting with Gin and Ryujin

She ate the fruit nervously trying to find the courage to go after the two brothers. She never had to go very far thanks to Gin and Ryujin always taking care of her and doing necessary things like hunting and cutting down trees. All Rangiku had to do was go into town and buy some basic things and sell the firewood his brothers cut.

Even so, she never got very far especially at this time, as Ryujin and Gin were very protective of her. Rangiku had to admit that she got a little spoiled and dependent on her siblings.

"Rangiku, why are you pacing around like a dizzy cockroach?" Ryujin yelled laughing as he landed on the floor, he waved one hand at her getting her attention.

"Ryujin you idiot, where were you?" Rangiku yelled angrily and ran to her brother and hugged him tight "I was so worried about you"

Rangiku was sniffling and crying as she hugged Ryujin. She was very worried about her brother as he never came home that late.

Ryujin was surprised and felt guilty for making Rangiku so worried and then forcing a smile. He hugged her back with his one arm and kissed her forehead.

"It's okay, I just got lost in the woods!" Ryujin whispered in her ear soothing Rangiku "But it's ok, I'm here now!"

"How did you get lost in the woods? I thought you knew the woods like the back of your hand?" Rangiku asked suspiciously and moved away from Ryujin and narrowed her eyes looking into the boy's eyes "You're not going after some girl and forgot us, right Ryujin?"

"No, of course not!" Ryujin stated as he held up his hand comically "My little sister is the only girl I would go out this time of the afternoon to meet!"

"Now!" Rangiku replied suspiciously as she turned away "so why did you get lost? Why did you stay away so long? I can see the lie in your eyes"

Rangiku stated very carefully not taking his eyes off Draco for even a second. She was very worried about Ryujin, he never lied to her like that without wanting to calm her down which means something happened.

Draco felt a little cornered by the way Rangiku was questioning him. she had never been so incisive and Draco decided to sigh seeing he lost the fight. Ryujin relaxed his shoulders and decided to tell half-truths about what had happened.

"Okay, you won!" Ryujin sighed and looked at Rangiku as he pulled the cloak that covered his stomach from his stomach showing Rangiku "I was attacked by a criminal with Reatsu, I managed to scare him away, but I ended up passing out sorry for worrying you"

Draco looked down in mock hurt and waited for Rangiku's reaction.

"Rayujin, my god, you're fine? you don't have any more wounds? is this infected? We have to wash the wound!" Rangiku screamed desperately touching Ryujin's stomach

"I'm fine, it wasn't too serious!" Ryujin chuckled at Rangiku's concern and patted her head, "I just need to get some rest, where is Gin?"

Draco asked looking over Rangiku's head looking for Gin inside the house and sighed when she didn't see him! Ryujin was worried that Gin might have been attacked too, he knew Gin wouldn't die because of his destiny to be a captain, but he was still worried.

"I don't know and it's not the time for this, we have to treat your wounds" Rangiku yelled with concern grabbing his arm "You have to rest"

"I'm fine, I'm serious Rangiku, don't worry" Ryujin laughed trying to calm Rangiku and let go of her "I have to find Gin, he might be in danger!"

"OK, I'll go look for Gin! you stay home and rest" Rangiku replied quickly letting go of Ryujin and stomping on the floor and turning to Ryujin while speaking with authority "Ryujin, get inside the house and I'll be right back!"

"no! then I'll be worried about you and Gin" Ryujin yelled

He knew At that moment that Rangiku's personality would not allow her to back down if he went after her. she would be mad at him.

Draco knew he couldn't stop her the moment he realized that little by little Bleach's adult Rangiku personality was showing up in Rangiku which means she was the most stubborn person in the world.

"Damn, I'm hiding" Ryujin complained and then ran into the forest stealthily using his enhanced physical abilities.

He jumped through the trees and quickly found Rangiku. he followed her upstairs silently until she suddenly stopped and Ryujin heard a scream from her.

"Gin what are you doing"

Ryujin's eyes widened and without expecting anything he jumped towards Rangiku disappearing from the tree.

He reappeared in front of Rangiku with his back to her using his single arm to get into a fighting stance.

"Rangiku are you okay?" Ryujin asked as he looked back and saw Rangiku's pale face and realized that she was stuck to the point where she hadn't even fought him for coming.

He then looked forward and saw Gin filled with Blood all over his body and a sword in his hand. he had killed someone or seriously injured someone, probably a criminal, and knew that would happen because he watched bleach

"Gin what are you…" Ryujin feigned shock as if he didn't know what had happened. He wasn't surprised that Gin killed someone. Ryujin himself has killed over 90 people since he arrived in this world. All marginals of course

Of course, it was to protect the injured and exhausted Gin who trained so hard that he lost consciousness and physical strength from training so much collapsing on the forest floor and being exposed to attacks.

"I… Acnologia what happened to your stomach?" Gin opened his eyes in surprise looking at Ryujin's stomach

"No big deal! just an idiot with Reatsu attacked me, but what are you doing Gin?" Draco answered Gin's question with another question.

Gin tried asking, but stopped as Ryujin wasn't going to say what happened. he was always like that, he was never very direct in his answers, and trying to get any direct information out of Ryujin was impossible. But if Ryujin was attacked and Ryujin was alive the person who attacked him was not. that was Gin's conclusion

"I'm going Become a Shinigami"

Rangiku's shock wore off at Gin's answers and her eyes widened. She tried to say something, but nothing came out of her mouth but a sniff.

"I'll protect you both," Gin declared confidently, but her words seemed more directed at him than at the two of them.

"Gin, are you sure about this?" Ryujin asked seriously "You know that once you become a Shinigami there's no going back!"

"Yes, I've already made my decision" Gin nodded at him confidently.

"Then there's nothing you can do, I'll also become a Shinigami to protect you" Ryujin stated with a sigh.

"Me too!" Rangiku was the last to speak, but she was just as motivated as the other two "I will protect my brothers!"

Gin stood there looking at the two of them quietly and just sighed realizing that the two would not change their minds.

"Okay, the test for Shinigami is next week! If we leave today, we'll get there" Gin stated as he wiped the blood from his face

"So let's go!"
