Daisy's hair was tied in a ponytail, so the bandage on the nape of her neck stood out.
A bandage to hide the kiss mark that was my own imprint on her.
"Daisy, what's wrong with your neck? Are you injured?"
Richard's question startled Daisy, and she instinctively reached for the bandage covering her neck.
"Oh this? It was just an insect bite."
"Really?"
Looking at Richard's doubtful face, Daisy frowned, squinted her eyes, and asked in an angry voice.
"Are you doubting me?"
Daisy's stern voice instantly deflated Richard's vanity like a punctured balloon.
"No, no...how can I?"
He stuttered.
But before he could finish his words, Daisy cut him in the middle.
"Bastard! You think you can speak to me or Adrian like that if you lose some weight? Know your place, or I'll beat the shit out of you."
"What? Why are you taking his side, Daisy?"
Richard subconsciously yelled and asked in a pleading voice.
