Chapter 3. Background's Story

A long time ago, a phenomenon began to occur on the Continent that caused chaos and destruction everywhere. Gates and Dungeons started appearing, and from these portals emerged monsters that slaughtered half of the human population. Along with these monsters, other mythological species that were once considered fictional began to appear. These included Asuras, Elves, Angels, and Dwarves, as well as Mysterious Racial Clans like Rees.

This day came to be known as the "Day of Lone". As if that wasn't enough, different energies such as Aura, Mana, and Divinity also began to manifest in the world. As a result, humans born during this time became mutated and developed the ability to manipulate these energies. They also developed special traits like Talent or Affinity, among others. These mutated humans, along with other races, formed an alliance known as the "Inter Racial Pact". Together, they fought to clear the Gates and Dungeons. These fighters were known as the First Generation of Hunters.

After around 400 years since the Day of Lone, another tragedy struck. A monstrous gate appeared, and from it emerged five figures known as Devils. They quickly disappeared, and no one knew why or what their intentions were. However, four people suddenly appeared and began to massacre everything in their path, committing vile acts such as destroying cities and raping women. Although they were only four, none of the hunters could stop them because they had a strange energy surrounding them.

To stop them, hundreds of hunters self-destructed their energy sources, killing the four of the five Devils. However, as one of them was dying, he said that they would return when suitable vessels were available. As such, once every era, the Vessels of the Devils are born, repeating the tragedy. However, these vessels can only contain half of the original Devil's power and soul, making them weaker. This cycle can only stop once the Last Original Devil is killed. Because of these tragedies and massacres, many mysterious races became extinct, and the Devils are now considered the enemy of the world.

The victim of the Original Devil's rape often died due to the Devil's energy. However, rarely, an offspring of the Devil was born, although their bloodline was less than 40%. These offspring are known as "Demons" and were heavily criticized due to their relationship with the Devils. However, after some time, they were considered a different race than the Devils, and they were added to the "Inter Racial Pact".
