Chapter 5

"Ego you're late again!" I hissed when I hear my manager shouted.

"Sorry, I was drunk last night."

Madali akong umupo at sinimulan na ni Marco na ayusin ang itsura ko.

"Girl, lagi mo nalang pinapainit ulo ni Madam." bulong ni Marco.

I glared at him then slowly grinned.

"Nag-enjoy ako, I was in the bar last night, Regal's." nanlaki ang mga mata niya ng marinig ang pangalan ng bar.

"Omg girl! Mahal sa bar na 'yon, binalak kong bumili ng ticket noong nakaraan, pero lumuwa ang mga mata ko sa presyo."

"I know right."

"Ano maganda ba? Kainggit naman, kailangan kong mag make up ng mga maraming mukha para maka-ipon ng ticket ko do'n!" aniya habang nilalagyan ng blush on ang pisnge ko.

"Super, kakaiba sa lahat ng bar! They're offering expensive liquors!" masayang ani ko.

"'Sya! Bibili na nga ako ng ticket ko!" he said.

I chuckled on his statement. Halatang gustong-gusto. I should tell Gil about it. I'm sure gusto rin ng babaeng 'yon.

"Isama natin ang bruhang Gil sa susunod." I nodded then closed my eyes.

May hang over parin ako, pero hindi dapat mahalata dahil baka pagalitan ako at masabihan na unprofessional.

I hate that. I'm gaining good feedbacks so I can have a good name in my field.

I know hindi maiiwasan ang chismis, inggit at siraan sa modeling industry. But as much as possible ay umiiwas ako sa kahit na ano mang issue. Ayokong madumihan ang pangalan ko.

Making your name and money, that's the important thing to remember when It comes to this industry.

"GOOD job, Ego." the photographer said then smiled at me. I know that, I'm good.

"Thank you."

"Hope we can work together again." he smiled, I just nodded my head, inaantok ako.

"Girl, halika na, tanggalin ko na ang make up." Marco pulled me towards the chair then starts wiping off my face.

"Thank you, Marco." I smiled, kumunot naman ang noo niya at umirap sa akin. Hindi nagustuhan ang sinabi ko.

"Umalis ka na nga lang." saad niya pa. I just chuckled.

I was walking towards my car when I recieved a text from Gil, saying,

"Hey bitch, you need to see something. Come here at Mojo."

I shrugged then entered my car. I sighed before starting the engine.

What now, Ego? Wala naman sigurong masama kung pupunta ako sa Mojo ngayon.

Sinimulan ko nang imaniobra ang aking sasakyan.

Mojo's one of the famous bars here, Not for rich nor poor people, just average. But their girls... seems so cheap. I'm not being judgemental or what, I'm just saying the truth.

I parked my car then walked towards the entrance. The two bouncers nodded at me so I smiled.

"Hey!" Gil shouted then tightly gripped my arm.

"Hey!" I smiled then kissed her cheeks.

She started to pull me towards somewhere.

"Hey saan ba tayo pupunta, Gil? Bakit hatak ka ng hatak?" I asked her.

She glared at me.

"Basta bilisan natin!"

I stared at our surroundings.

"Wait, we're going to the VIP rooms?" My eyes widen.

"Yes. May ipapakita ako diba."

Why is she so mad?

She glanced at the every room number on the door.

She stopped then looked at me.

"Go open the door and look for my surprise." she said while glaring at the door.

I hold the knob then opened it.

"Ano bang meron—" I stared at the people kissing hungrily. They are both half naked on the bed.

Okay, I didn't see this coming.
