CHAPTER 2
LORIAN: I'm at your office now. sent
She fixed her hair and took a last look on the mirror before grabbing the boxes of orders for today's video, she has ahm 3 customers today hehe. Anyways she's a baker, a chef, and I must say a patient one tho she doesn't get much customer everyday.
But her cookings are so delicious, you can even taste the fragrance of the hot pork and beef Caldereta she cooked earlier at 4am just to also repack them in a nice velvet boxes. Tho can't this make her poor??
Forget it, it's a sunny day and she looks gorgeous in her mustard dress it's her lucky dress!
"Thank you for ordering Margarita..." she thanked her friend who works at Ermalbe company who also helped her advertise her cookings.
"No problem, I've tasted how good your cookings are already when we're in highschool and I'm missing it, I actually bought the 3rd set hehe" Margarita replied happily.
"You never changed you're still so flowery, anyways I have to go now, enjoy your meal" she smiled and started walking out of the building already.
Once she's outside she can no longer resist but feel the pain on her feet with her highheels so she look for a bench to rest at but there seems no bench around the area.
But she tried looking for one for the last time when her eyes suddenly got caught by a familiar car that stopped on the front of the building which suddenly made her run to hide realizing "...oh no I gotta hide, It's the car from yesterday!"
She finds herself hiding at the side where there's a garden part of the building and silently sneaks out to look again at the car while the door of the car opens.
Into her surprise, a tall blonde guy went out of the car looking so fine, powerful and "hmmm I can even smell his scent!amp-" she accidentally screamed a bit that made the guy turned to look at where she is, luckily she's fast enough to hide and all she can do is run away and pray that he didn't saw her and yeah goodluck to her feet!
Running with her highheels away from Ermalbe company, Lorian luckily grabbed an instant taxi from the highway making her finally feel relieved that she can surely say that she successfully escaped from this game she made on her mind.
Well what is this game anyway? why was she hiding from the driver who gave her a ride yesterday? She doesn't even know that tall blonde guy she saw coming out from that car since she didn't even waited to see his expectedly handsome face!
Anyways let me tell you what happened, first of all she said that she will pay and since she knows her card is not working she had to run away even before hearing what would the driver have said to her. She was all funnily running for her life just because she lied that she will pay thinking that she should really pay, what if they report her?
"phew! that was close..." she finally blurted after some huge inhale exhale session, she fixed her hair and bag and suddenly realized something "... that's probably the driver's boss and it could be worse if I wasn't fast enough phew!" well she's talking about her scape run earlier hahaha
Looking next outside thru the car's window, now she's having the view of a restaurant which triggered her to remember her dream and that is to become a chef. Yet she failed to achieve her dream "...maybe it's my karma..." she whispered.
While the car is running, her eyes can't stop but stare at the sky as she remembered how she failed in this life so far...
It's been 3 years and all she became was just a failure. She can't even manage to visit her family because of being shameful, worse she was scammed and now shee agrees with the fact that she's possibly an idiot all this time.
Later on she already stopped spacing out with those thoughts in her mind and just finally tell the driver where she wanted to go.
"...at the memorial garden please"
HER HOMETOWN...
"Maria where is your sister?..." their mom asked.
Maria paused serving the food and answered their mom with an unsure smile saying "ahm Lorian is just busy mom, well I'm close to finish serving now so we can start eating!" she tried to make the ambience lively but this time their mom commented back.
Saying "We're celebrating a birthday but the celebrant is not here again?..."
Later that day...
Lorian is back at her condo already and is ready to chat with her clients at the dating app when a message from MASSIMO caught her saying...
MASSIMO: HAPPY 27TH BIRTHDAY Laura
Massimo has 2 messages and that was his last message for her yesterday when she already turned her internet off.
Well she literally lied at the dating app because it wasn't her birthday yesterday but today, December 03 which on the dating app it's December 02, 1999.
And yes today is her birthday and she wasn't even able to celebrate nor come home ateast and well it's been 3 years since the last time she celebrated anyways because she was very busy with her "company".
The mood became dark although she used to laugh at her fvcked up life. Good enough there is someone who can talk about happy stuffs.

She chuckled after reading his cheesy first message before his greetings to her. Unfortunately he's offline and so she just left him thankful message...put her phone on the table and start undressing herself already when suddenly a man came out of her closet saying...
"... It's so nice seeing you naked again Lorian"
