There was a rumble.
The earth trembled violently and caused the whole Aquarius to shake. Ye Mei stood on the waterfall and almost slipped down the slope. As she gained her footing, she turned to see what was causing it. A chill went down her back.
Behind her was an undulating mountain range. Several heads higher than the mountain were swaying in the light blue sky. All she could see were their necks. The mountain had blocked the rest of their bodies.
More heads stuck out from under the mountains, and each of them was ferocious and mighty as the other. They possessed the wildness and arrogance of ancient demons and a bit of the divinity among monsters. They came from an unknown world, and it was enough to make a land tremble. Those were the heads of a snake.
