Vengeance To The Royal Ones

"An eye for an eye." The day she burried her parents, this became Amber's motto. Their family just wanted to live their lives the way they wanted. But the royals didn't want them to do so. To fulfill a 3 year promise, their family travelled. But was then ambushed causing her parents lives. She survived and caused their car to explode as if it crashed, leaving within it three bodies, their clones. She then dragged her parents in order to burry them properly despite the location. After finding out who they would be helping, she declared, "I'll help you if you marry me. 5 year engagement, 5 year marriage. You have no choice you can only accept it." ***** "If they didn't want such a law abiding one, then we shall burry this company in the underground. They will regret ever taking action towards us." Ashton declared and his already cold demeanor turned even colder and blood thirsty. ***** After giving him a strong head butt, Amber pointed at him angrily, "Get your head straight and remember this, the reason why I am also here is to support you. The moment that contract was signed I have vowed to protect you as well." "I am planning on creating my own company and be able to have as much assets as possible within that five years. I am not planning on going against them during that time either. That is why I have to live as silent as possible, live as Amber Wood."

"How sure are you that they wouldn't know about you being the daughter of your parents?"

Gideon is becoming more and more interested to this girl. She was not in a rush for her revenge, instead she knew how powerless she currently is. Such child is uncommon, 'Yes just like that young man from the past.'

Upon remembering this, he narrowed his eyes.

"The clone that they have retrieved were very much like me, they wouldn't know the difference unless I show up myself," Amber replied still full of respect, she had no plans on angering the current master of a royal family.

"Tell me, kid. Are you really just the daughter of the doctors? I think you need to tell this one honestly, so as we would be able to know how much protection we could give you," he asked her instead.

Amber was taken a back, 'He knew I was lying? But how? My parents have always been low key.'

"Tell me honestly. I don't plan on entering any transaction with very little knowledge of the other person. And I have no plans on checking about a dead person's background."

'His talking about my parents...'

"I have changed so much sir. My appearance alone won't give anyone the clue of who I truly am. That is also why I am quite confident that they wouldn't easily find out of who I am. But for this to be fair then I shall tell you my past name before we left that place."

She then looked towards Ashton and the others, "Can I ask of a place where I and sir would be able to talk?"

Everyone was taken a back. Even those who are close to Gideon, is this that much of a secret?

Ashton nodded before signalling the other two to leave the room. On the other side, Gideon signalled the others to leave as well.

After a few minutes of silence, "I'm sorry for such demand sir."

"No, but it seems that this is a very big secret, isn't it? So what could be the young lady's name?"

With a deep breath and as her eyes turned dead all over again, Amber opened her mouth, "Nathalie Price."

Silence followed after those two words. The ticking clock and the rain that's spattering outside were all Amber could currently hear. Her eyes were focused on the falling droplets, that name was nothing to her.

After they left that hell 10 years ago, she had abandoned that name. Of course her parents have changed their names after leaving, even their features were changed. But even those were only done by wigs and contacts.

For her parents, they were hiding their features. For her, they were hiding her real looks. Her looks have changed after the cure was given her. They knew that if those people didn't know how she looks after what had happened, she would be able to escape from them even more.

That is why her masks were layer after layers. The first mask was to cover her past look. But even that past look was actually hiding her real look. Such troublesome thing, but she knew her parents just wanted her to be safer.

"I see."

That was all, after a long pause, Gideon said before saying goodbye and passing the phone back to Liana. There, Liana and Amber finalized the agreement and that they will be coming to Star country in a week.

With a heavy feeling, Amber returned Ashton's phone before saying goodbye herself. No one stopped her for she looked like a real doll, walking just because someone attached her with strings, after she opened the door. Even the two guys didn't want to ask any longer.

"Carl, go buy medicine for bruise and bring her home," Ashton tasked Carl as they watch Amber's back, before the three of them went inside Ashton's office.

*****

Gideon went straight to his study after the phone call, he only tasked everyone that no one must disturb him.

As he sat behind his table, a sad look appeared to his already rigid look.

He was a man in his 60's, despite that it was still visible from his features that he was a very handsome man back in his youth. His silver hair only added to his current charismatic old look.

"Nathalie Price," he repeated, his eyes not focusing on anything.

"Back in the day, there is a young man who got my attention. He was not much of a cold one but that a goofy one, despite that once he gets serious not even my son Kyle, could match to him."

"It's just too bad that he himself didn't want to be the successor."

~"This world is very chaotic, all I wanted is for my children to live in peace as much as they can. Where they can freely choose whatever they wanted."~

That was the first time he spoke to that young man. He chanced upon him during a party where every Royal family attended. He himself was not fond of such gathering, especially when the royals are together.

Upon arriving to a balcony, he saw that the young man who was able to get every business deal he wants as long as he put his mind on it, standing with a wine glass. Without much thought he approached this person and spoke with him.

~"But life is just unfair. To be born in the most vicious royal family, I wish we could get away from this place."~

That was the last sentence he left to Gideon during that party.

The last time they saw each other was 11 years ago.

~"My daughter was the most loving one I've seen. Too bad, her brain was outstanding, those old men would surely exploit her."~

He had a bitter look on his face as he spoke of it. Just like the first time the two of them were alone in a balcony.

The next thing he heard was that he and his wife together with their daughter have died in an accident.

"Nathan, you have indeed such an amazing daughter. As courageous as you are and as smart as you. When I heard that you have died with your wife and daughter, I had a feeling that you just runaway. Who would have thought that I was right. And yet, towards the end I still didn't get the chance to meet you again."

Other than those sentences, he and Nathan spoke longer and he came to like him.

~"If it was possible to choose, I would have chosen to be born in your family instead."~

With a rare shy look, Nathan had said this as well. To which he replied, ~"Then maybe we could make our descendants marry each other. Something unprecedented I suppose."~

Marriage among royals were never done. After all the five families still see each other as rivals. Making one your in law is not a good thing for them.

"*chuckles* Maybe if this two works, then the unprecedented have been broken."

After more thoughts, Gideon called for his son, Kyle, Ashton's father.

"You've called father?"

"Take good care of that child. She could become the change that was never born among the royals."

Kyle was first shocked, but remembering the question his father asked to the girl before they were dismissed, "Is she really different father?"

Gideon looked at him, "I'm going to tell this only to you. You must not disclose this to others even your wife or Ashton himself until that girl speak up about it herself."

"She is Nathan's daughter."

Kyle's eyes grew wide, "Na- Nathan? You mean Nathan?"

Rivalry among the children of the royal were very much visible. They would even be enemies that hates each other. But there are few where these children found friendship with the other.

That is what had happened between Kyle and Nathan. Outside, during debates and business deals, these two were heated but once they returned to just being plainly Kyle and Nathan, they were actually good friends.

"Then those two who approached me and Liana were actually Nathan and Sarah?"

"Yes, they must not be planning on showing up in front of anyone who knew them. But maybe upon hearing that your daughter have fallen sick and that they knew about the cure. They decided to show up but to ask for us to help them hide as well."

"So the incident that declared them dead was actually a lie. They left to find the cure for their daughter and at the same time leave the Price empire. But how can they leave? Surely the elders in there wouldn't have allowed it, Nathan was the priced grandson of the master after all."

"The only explanation is that, that old man allowed them to leave. Isn't it that the two young masters were left behind. And each of them showed the same intelligence as their father," after pondering over it, Gideon came up with this.

"Then who really killed them?"

"Those who wants to be the successor themselves. I've heard about it, that the token for succession was missing. Even the old man was not talking about it. But Nathan had no desire for such power, then the only explanation was that. The token was with them, without them knowing of it."
