“Okay, tell me,” Damon pushes.
“Graham Socks poisoned the children, but you won’t find a reason for why he picked those children. It was just to test how effective using candy on Halloween as a delivery system would be. I think he plans to spread something else, on a larger scale,” Evan says, careful not to let his gaze linger on Rene.
“He thought no one would catch him, that the children would probably die. And then he’d act again?” Rene guesses.
“I think so.”
“And what did he plan to use on people this time?” Damon asks.
“From what he left behind, I don’t think he’s cracked it yet. I don’t know if it’s even possible. But he’s trying to turn Felis into people. He wants to make you all human,” Evan says, and he’d swear he can feel the anger in the room.
“He wants to turn Felis into humans? All Felis?” Damon asks, face totally blank.
