Chapter 22
“In my down time, though, I get to do what I want with that time. I can’t work twenty-four hours.” Evan’s surprised that he already sounds a little breathless just because Rene’s touching him. Rene’s a very attractive, powerful presence, and Evan can’t help responding.
Rene closes the gap and kisses him, hot and sweet, and Evan doesn’t even want to try to hold back. He wraps his arms around Rene’s neck, pulling him closer, so Rene turns and crawls onto the bed till he’s crouched over Evan, pinning the blankets around him. Evan pushes his hands into Rene’s hair, feeling bolder this time. He tugs lightly with both hands, and Rene gasps into the kiss, so Evan does it again.
“I like having my hair played with,” Rene says huskily, breaking the kiss to speak but staying close.
