Katherine started the bike and removed the stand before placing her left and right leg on the stand. She accelerated and immediately slid the bike at the right angle since they needed to change lanes and go opposite to the area.
"Tell me the direction, okay? I am not familiar with this area," Katherine shouted, and Nickolas, who was joking earlier, started to tighten his grip on his thighs as he held the support behind him.
"Turn to the right, and we will meet the highway. It will lead us to the mountains. Do you want to go?" He asked, and Katherine, who was starting to feel her old self as she accelerated the bike even more, smiled.
"Let's go to the mountains," Katherine said, and Nickolas didn't like the smugness in her voice.
He was a rough rider himself, but riding the bike yourself and sitting behind a rider were two different things, and he felt heat creeping down his neck as his heart picked its pace.
