"Be good, and don't get into trouble," Maximus said to Delilah, making her scowl at him.
"Stop treating me like a kid," She complained.
"As your guardian, your daddy, I think I have the right to do it," Maximus mused as he bent towards her and tucked her hair behind her ears.
"You are not my daddy," Delilah hissed at him like a cat showing her whiskers, and it made him smile even more.
"Tell me, little kitten, do you think I am handsome?" He asked, basking in her genuine confusion.
"Of course you are. Why would you -"
"So you find me handsome?" Maximus mused.
Katherine, who was obviously caught in the trap, glared at the man before she took off the seatbelt.
"Stop hurting my brain cells,"
"Why? Because you are afraid that the little cells you have will die too?" Maximus teased her, and Katherine suppressed the urge to groan and kick her legs in the air to show her irritation.
Why does he keep bullying her seriously?
