4. THE FIRST BONFIRE

The group landed in a bright forest. Mountains scaved the outside area, and streams ran throughout. In front of them was a bonfire, the bonfire spoke-

Bonfire 'Ghoul': Welcome to the fabled SEALED GAMES. I am Ghoul, I will be your bonfire. Summon me whenever you are in need of food or supplies. Of course you'll have to collect them yourselves. I am more so a beacon, you're goal is to help me reach that mountain way over there-

A mountain as tall as ever, the clouds covered the top, and walls guarded around. A castle sat affront.

Ghoul: To summon me, just say SUMMON BONFIRE. Now, to teach you the rules-

Rex: What is this?

Eva: Interesting.

Exo: We're in some kind of- event. Wherever the hell we are-

-And our goal is to bring you to...a mountain?

Ghoul: Yes, but don't underestimate The Sealed Games. Dangers lurk everywhere, along with other teams. Their goal is to bring their bonfires to the mountain first.

Rex: Other contenders?

Exo: What happens to us if we don't get there before them?

Ghoul: Simple, you die.

Eva: ...die...

Ghoul: Die.

Exo: This is a load of crap, are we gonna let a stupid bonfire boss us around.

Rex: Let's be level headed. If this 'thing' says we have to get to the mountain. Then we have to get there first, so let's hurry.

Ghoul: Not so fast- the games haven't begun. First, I'll have to escort you to the Capital, you see this land is known as Half-Earth. It's between earth and hell, its where sacred being live.

Rex: Okay, fine.

Eva: I'm so confused.

Exo: Fine, we kick the crap outta some contenders and win. We participate in the Capital mumbo jumbo, got it.

Ghoul: There's more. You'll have to awaken your cores in order to participate. Failure to awaken you're cores will lead to instant termination. YOU WILL DIE.

Eva: ...die...

Ghoul: Die.

Rex: This is a lot of information at once, but if it helps us get out of hear I'm game.

Exo: This sounds Ike fun, minus the Die part.

Ghoul: Now, to the capital- the Game master awaits all.

Rex: Game master?

Eva: I don't wanna die...

Exo: I'M SO PUMPED, LET'S GO. I'LL KICK THE DUDE MASTERS BUTT AS WELL.

Rex: GAME MASTER YOU CLUTS.

Exo: That's what I said, Game-dude, same thing.

Eva: *laughs* I'm sorry Bonfire, they are always like this.

Ghoul: It's perfectly fine, I have a few more things to share with you 3. But it'll have to wait until we reach the Capital.

The 3 as well as the bonfire made their way out of the woods, heading towards a large capital that sat in this world. The Sealed Games would be a test of fate for our crew- what had awaited, would shift the balance of their very lives.
