After all the classes ended for the day, you quickly rushed your way through the halls to spot Shinsou. He hasn't spoke with you ever since that little incident with Touya, he'd either ignore you or make an excuse not to talk to you. It was rather frustrating, especially after a nice time working towards some neutrality as roommates and classmates, yet Touya had to barge in and ruin your efforts.

You shoved your way through the hall, apologizing here and there before you finally made your way beside the purple-haired male. You really needed to speak with him before your boyfriend comes along with his barging nature.

Your heart was still drumming loudly, before you smoothly, causally walked alongside with him. You pursed your lips, tilting your eyes to the corner to spot this side of his angelic face.

Your eyes widened when he narrowed his eyes at the corner to meet your own. You quickly turned your eyes back to the front, before he rolled his eyes in irritation.

He began to rush forward, while you caught on to his pace. Eventually, he turned to the left corner towards a large, empty hallway and began to walk speedily in a bee-line form.

You bit an urge to laugh at his attempts to avoid you, but you managed to catch up to him at the end.

"Stop following me," he ordered in all seriousness, violet eyes looked down at you with frustration, yet biting an urge to laugh.

You finally broke out a fit of laughter. "Okay, I'll stop, but please stop avoiding me."

He sighed. "That's not happening, now goodbye."

He turned back to walk to the opposite end of the bright lit hallway. It encompassed with a white marble flooring along with the white walls, and greyish white lockers. It looked rather exquisite, considering you were in the best university in the country.

Shinsou's purple hair stood out from the bright area, your lips frowned at his stubbornly annoying nature. But, somehow you liked this side of him. It was strange, but you liked how transparent he was sometimes on displaying what he truly felt towards you. Rather than having a boyfriend who was still hiding things from you. Your mind still bombarded with questions about Shinsou's eyes and especially their conversation and history together, but for now you needed to make it up to Shinsou for such topics to be shared.

You eventually strode your way to walk by his side. He looked down at you once before rolling his eyes away once again to look back at the front.

"Look, I know we already hate each other, so please don't make it worst by putting it on me just because of what happened with my boyfriend, I really don't know what happened in the past, but please don't put it on me."

"..." he still continued to remain silent, forcefully ignoring you as he kept his face fixated to the front with a blatant, expressionless demeanour.

"Fine, don't talk to me," you murmured before fishing out your phone. You tugged the side of his arm to cause him to stop.

"I said stop tal—"

"Here," you intruded.

You handed your phone to him, causing his brows to scrunch in slight confusion. His gleaming purple orbs looked down and then up towards your face with his firm red lips into a thin line.

"What?"

"I said give me your phone number."

"Pft," he scoffed with a mocking grin. "That's never gonna happen."

You sighed with a roll of your eyes. "It's for the project, dumb-dumb, it's not like I'm asking you out or anything, if you don't want to talk to me, then let's chat instead, that still counts right?"

He shook his head at you with narrowed eyes, his cherry red lips slightly parted in unbelief. "...you're unbelievable."

"Yea, yeah," you muttered before you shoved your phone to his chest before you entreated earnestly, "Now, put your phone number now."

"Ha, no."

"Yes, you will."

"Nah."

"Yas."

He sighed with amusement slowly filling his eyes. "I said no."

"I said yes."

"[Name], get lost."

"Shinsou, I'm already lost."

"Hah?"

You glanced around with a cheeky smile before you shrugged lightly, until it patted against your sides. "Well, I have no idea where you brought us, I just know the way to the classroom and to our dorms, but nowhere else."

"Tch, you're the dumb-dumb, you shouldn't have followed me here," he bellowed, before he continued to walk towards the end of the hallway.

You pouted before you continued to walk alongside with him. He stopped telling you to stop following him and continued to ignore you. You knew your grades were at stake, this project is a big part of the overall marks, so that was one reason on why you were determined to get on his good side.

"Shinsou, please," you implored, tugging the side of his sleeve. "What does it take for me to have your number?"

Silence continued to loom between the two of you, your eyes settled away from his violet ones with a sigh before you turned back to the front.

"Earn my trust."

Your eyes perked up, turning to the side before you met his violet ones, once again. The moment was disturbed when your phone began to rang, glancing down you knew it was your boyfriend. His lazy eyes trailed down to your phone and back at you before he raised a brow.

You pressed your lips together with a frown. You pressed the decline button right in front of him before you shrugged in a convincing motion.

"There, I prioritized you more than my own boyfriend, is that enough to convince you?"

His lips formed to a small smirk before his lips parted to showcase a bit of his teeth. "Nah, that isn't enough."

"What?" You gaped slightly, eyes filled with disbelief at his stubborn nature. "What do you want me to do? Break up with him?"

His violet eyes widened with slight glints, as if you engulfed a fire in his violet orbs with such an idea. "Yeah, do that and we'll be friends."

You flinched, brows furrowed before he turned back once again to walk off. "...wait, you want to be friends?"

"No, I know we'll never be."

A smirk crept your lips as you caught up to his walking speed, turning your mischievous gaze onto his form. "...Then why did you mention it?"

"Because..." he breathed softly, before turning to you. "I know that won't happen since you won't be breaking up with your boyfriend anytime soon, aren't you?"

"I...guess not."

He smirked in victory, eyes remained blank and unmoved. "Thought so."

He swivelled back, began to stroll to the upcoming corner of the hallway. "Wait, Shinsou, if you want to be friends, then let's be friends..." you walked to him like a penguin, catching up beside his figure, "...It's better than hating on each other all the time."

He sighed. "I rather we hate each other, it's better off like that."

"Please, Shinsou," you pleaded, grabbing ahold of his arm to stop him in his tracks. You looked up into his eyes with the most adorable look you could give. "This is a big project we're talking about, this could affect our grades and you wouldn't want it to drop, will you?"

He stopped for a moment, looking at you with furrowed brows, backing off slightly with scrunched nose upwards. He bit his bottom lip as he looked away with slight pink hues on his cheeks. "...You're just doing this for your stupid grades, aren't ya?"

"Ha? It's not stupid," you protested, as you tried to look into his eyes, but found him to still be avoiding you. "It's the only reason why I'm here in the first place, I'm not rich enough to attend this university, I'm under the support of a scholarship, and it's the only way ever gonna stay here, I need to graduate so I can get a job and support my family suffering financially, so please, Shinsou."

"..." he stayed silent for a long while, continued to stare at you for a while. You remained a solemn gaze, determined to get on his side, hoping that he was thinking this through.

Suddenly, his lips parted, your eyes widened in anticipation of what he was about to say. But, the most unexpected thing happened.

He yawned lazily.

You gaped, stifled back at his disrespectful nature. "Excuse me? That's all you're gonna do after telling you my reasons? Weren't you even thinking through what I just said?"

His lips met together to a thin line, a lazy frown formed on his red lips before he looked away. "Fail for all I care, better for you to get out of this place while you still can, it's for your own good."

"W-Wha—?!" Your mouth remained ajar, feeling a wave of anger and frustration fuel your chest. You've never hated someone so much in your entire life. Yet, no matter what, you were still determined to stay in this university. The education was great, you even found a group of kind friends and a hot boyfriend. You were more than happy here, except for your crappy roommate.

You clenched your fist, feeling a surge of determination to change his mind.

You two entered in the dorm room, you purposely stormed your way in and followed him. He obviously noticed but continued to walk upstairs to his bedroom. Eventually, he decided to go in the washroom, and yes, you followed him all the way through.

You shut the door behind you and leaned yourself against it with your arms crossed. Shinsou began to whistle like a bird, facing towards the toilet before turning his violet orbs to the corner.

"You better leave," he warned.

"Nope," you quickly responded. "I'm staying until you change your mind and give me your phone number."

"Tch," he scoffed, turning his head towards you with a snarl. "Even if I do give you my phone number, it's not like I will ever reply to you anyway."

Your lips irked into a frown, before you huffed a breath at him. "Well, I'll bombard your phone with messages and phone calls until you answer me!"

His eyes narrowed coolly, rather amused at seeing this side of you. He simply shrugged with a smirk. "Well, I'll just block you."

"No, you won't."

"I will, now get out."

"No, I won't," you challenged, pouting your lips forward.

He sighed. "Fine, since you're so determined to see it, I'll let you have it, but I don't think your boyfriend will be very pleased with your behaviour right now."

He began to unzip the zipper of his black pants, causing your eyes to pop wide in warning. You quickly covered your eyes with your hands with flushed cheeks.

"Well, I'm determined," you retorted under your breath before you heard splashes of liquid against an existing one inside the toilet bowl.

"Oh, are you really?"

"Mhmn," you hummed a nod, while your cheeks still visibly flustered even though this happened many weeks before.

"Then, are you still willing to stay if I take a nice warm bath...or perhaps a shower?"

"HAH? Stop being stubborn!!" You yelled. "Give me your phone number and I'll be outta here!"

He chuckled softly, before your heard him zip back up. You parted your fingers open to spot him through the gaps of your fingers.

Your eyes stood still, watching him lift his grey shirt off, revealing his lean and muscular form of his abdomens.

"W-What are yo—"

"I said it, didn't I?" He cut you off, as he fully removed his shirt, before he began to unzip his lower garments. "Let's see how far you're willing to go just to be my friend."
