Culling the Weak 3

Lovo didn't feel confidence fighting this creature. With a single swing Julki was nearly smashed to pieces. He knew he needed to get Bulwark to take the brunt of the Alpha while the rest held off the other beast.

He quickly turned to the goblin and took his sword back.

"Sorry friend. I need this. Go hide and I'll get you after this."

"But-"

"Go!l

The goblin, defeated, gave up arguing and ran to hide in some bushes. Holding his arrow close.

With sword in hand and Blood Drain in the other he gave a command.

"I'll hold the Alpha off! Julki take out the one with Bulwark then cover me. I have an idea!"

Julki quickly got up with a creek. Nearly every important bone was fractured. He got up and dashed to help Bulwark.

The Alpha recognizing another leader it spoke.

"Ahhh. Finally. A worthy prey I can fill in my jawsssss." The creature had a deep monster pie voice but would hiss like a snake as well.

"You can talk?!"

"Of coursssse I can. I'm not monssster."

"Is there any way to work this out? For us not to kill you?"

"They broke the deal. Now we are here to kill."

The Alpha charged him. He was going to use his Tail Whip skill. It only takes two of those to kill Lovo.

It got within 10ft of Lovo, turned to spin around and whip him with its tail, but froze still. Just as the Alpha was about to turn and look away from Lovo they made eye contact. He used Stunning Gaze!

'I should use this skill more often!'

He had 5 seconds of the Alpha being stunned. He quickly took his sword and attacked as many times as he could.

He also used his Blood Drain skill to deal more damage. Although, he was keeping an eye on his mana. He needed to save 30 of it, but at this point he was getting close to it.

The 5 second were up. The Alpha immediately swung its tail, using its Tail Whip skill, and sent Lovo flying into a tree.

*BOOM*

Lovo hit the tree hard!

He was impaled by a branch and coughing up blood.

"Ah fuck. I'm almost dead."

He slowly turned his head. The Alpha was slowly making its way towards him.

"Ahh a tasssty little morsssel! You look much tassstier then those filthy goblins-"

Before he could finished both Bulwark and Julki used their shields to charge knocking the creature over.

"Oh thank god!"

Lovo picked himself up, checked his Mana, he was at 35, and called out to the skeletons.

"Atlas keep holding that one down! Julki, you, Bulwark and Strider hold the Alpha off. And Julki take this!"

Lovo tossed his sword to him. Julki quickly dropped his shield and grabbed the sword, have one in each hand and charged the Alpha.

Having the chance to leave for a moment Lovo ran to where the goblin was hiding and ducked down. He opened his stats and saw he had 1 skill point to spend and 5 attribute points. He put all his attribute points into his intelligence to boost his mana and put the skill point into Raise Undead.

"Perfect!"

He looked around for the dead body of the Wolfaconda he just killed and used his skill. He spent nearly all his remaining mana to resurrect the beast. A red mist bellowed out of both hands this time and enveloped the beast. It quickly stood up staring at Lovo. He watched as the flesh started to rapidly decompose. It was gruesome sight. The first started to fall off as it's scales went from a vibrant green color to all 50 shades of grey before they fell off. It's mouth unhinged with its tongue and skin falling off. It looked more like a goul then a skeleton. It started to shake its body like a dog drying itself. Flesh and viscera flew everywhere. The trees, grass and bushes were covered in blood and gore. Even being out of the mist the viscera still decomposed into a pile of black goo.

After just a few seconds the Wolfaconda had all its flesh dissolving, leaving behind a pristine white bone skeleton.

"Wow I can finally see your Hp! Wonder if the skeletons need to be higher level for me to see stats? Also I wonder if the poison skill was removed not that it's just bones."

The Wolfaconda Skeleton was huge compared to Lovo. Now that it was just bones it looked even more terrifying, yet Lovo thought it looked kinda cute.

"I shall name you Grimmal."

The beast wagged it's tail indicating it liked the name. It would have liked any name since Lovo was its master. He could have named it Shithead and it still would have loved the name.

"Okay Grimmal let's go!"

Lovo returned to the fight with a new summon and noticed the fight wasn't going well. Atlas was still barely holding off the one beast while Bulwark and Julki weren't doing too well either. Unfortunately for Strider he was being pinned down by the Alpha and slowly being crushed.

Bulwark was missing his left arm but still maintained its shield. Julki on the other hand was in a much worse position. He was missing his right arm, both his left leg and left arm were missing pieces and looked like he was about to fall apart.

"Julki! You and Bulwark help Atlas. We need more muscle…bone? Whatever. To kill the alpha."

Julki nodded and tossed the sword in its hand to Lovo and picked up the other. The two skeletons ran over to fight the other beast to get Atlas to help with the Alpha.

Catching his sword he prepared himself to fight the Alpha. He checked his mana and barely had enough to use Blood Drain for a single second. Hopefully Grimmal could handle the fight more.

"Sick'em Grimmal!"

Grimmals lower jaw clattered together almost like it was trying to howl like a living being. Lovo was slightly put off by this. It reminded him of a Predator hunting it's prey. The Alpha ignored the clattering of bones and focused on crushing Strider beneath its weight.

In an instant Grimmal charged the Alpha with its mouth open piercing the beat! It charged with so much force that Strider was accidentally crushed by the two. Although, Grimmal did manage to tackle the Alpha into a tree. Lovo was happy to see it take its own medicine.

"Well shit. Hopefully I can bring him back. Would hate to have to rename a new skeleton.

Lovo watched as the spot where Grimmals fangs stabbed the Alpha slowl turned from red to purple.

"Huh. That's weird."

Unfortunately for Lovo he wasn't able to read Grimmals stats he would know what happened. Since it could use poison as a living being it lost that ability in death. Although, it did keep the skill it just changed typings. Now with its bite it could use necrotic element damage. This had a lower chance to proc, but with the bonus of dealing more damage and reducing the targets maximum Hp by that amount. Once Lovo figured out what happens he will plan to test what happens to other monster that control elements when they die and become his summon.

The Alpha reeled back in pain. The two creatures both fell into their instincts of wrapping around each other.

The two creatures tried to squeeze one another while clawing at the same time. The Alpha was stronger but with Grimmal being a skeleton they were nearly evenly matched.

With a single hand each Julki and Bulwark charged the other beast. Bulwark tried to shield bash it while Julki swung its sword trying to get its bleed to proc.

Thankfully with these two attacks they managed to get Atlas free from the beast. Although Julki wasn't able to get the bleed to proc.

The Wolfaconda stood back up. It was not a 3v1. The skeletons were all ready with their weapons and shield ready. Fortunately Atlas only took a little damage but was covered in blood. While everyone else was fighting he just used his sword like a saw slowly keeping the monster at bay.

Bulwark pounced in the creature with his shield outward. He was trying to keep it pinned. The beast saw this and backed away just out of reach before springing himself over Bulwark to attack Julki. Because I'd his missing arm he reacted to slowly and the beast clamped down on his other arm shattering it. This gave Atlas a window to strike! He raised his sword and swung straight down on the beast.

A huge gash wound was left in the neck of the beast. Ignoring Atlas the Wolfaconda pushed on to Julki. If it was going to die it was going to take another with him. The beast tackled Julki to the ground and begun bitting it and clawing at it with all its might!

Lovo looked over from the Alpha fight to the other skeletons. He saw the Wolfaconda standing over a pile of blood red bones and trying to attack Atlas.

"Ahhhhgggg!"

Lovo yelled and charged the other beast. He took the sword in both hands shoving it in the side of the neck!

The beast was barely up after that swing. Lovo used the last of his mana to absorb some health for the final fight with the Alpha.

The blood of the beast flowed out, healed Lovo and satisfied his hunger.

Lovo and the remains skeletons turned to face the Alpha and charged!
