Seeing his stats he was confident of even fighting two level three beasts together as that was just how much these stats were worth

His strength could easily beat level four and level five humans

However beasts were naturally stronger, so even these insane stats could at most match a weak level four however, he was still happy none the less.

Gathering his emotions, he turned to face Ariel.

"Let's go, shall we" He said with a confident smile that reassured Ariel boosting her confidence as well

Walking towards the meeting place, Ariel frowned as she looked at the person waiting for them

"Who is she" she asked Absalom gesturing towards Mariel.

"She's the one helping us out to hunt" Absalom said with a light chuckle as he saw the jealousy plastered all over Ariel's face.

" Let's get going, " Mariel said and pulled out a stone like gem shining with a lot of mana.

Placing herself close to the duo, much closer to Absalom than Ariel, she watched his fangs flash towards her as his eyes turned red.

"W-Who is scared " she stammered and smashed the stone taking them out of there and into a swamp like forest.

Upon arriving at the forest, they all dropped the playful mood as Ariel drew her sword, a thin longsword as they all preferred .

Not hesitating for even a second, Mariel drew hers making the situation a bit awkward for Absalom who didn't have one.

" Be careful," Mariel whispered as they approached a level two beast.

"We'll have to work together to kill that thing" Ariel said as she began to take flight with her wings. Just as she did though, Absalom dashed at the beast.

She knew he was strong and probably a level three however, the intelligent races except the dragons were known to have weaker stats than beasts.

A level three could defeat a level two beast perhaps if he had a level three skill however, one couldn't fight a beast in a brawl unless he or she were at least two levels above the beast.

That logic had just been broken by Absalom who looked towards a pack of level two beasts with two level three minotaurs leading the pack.

'No that shouldn't be possible' she thought in extreme shock as she watched Absalom once more coat his arm in deep red blood.
