Ariel and Mariel together watched in shock seeing Absalom drive deeper into the forest.

Needing a moment, to recover from their shock, they both even forgot about their level up as they watched the spot where he last was.

"I'm friends with a monster" Mariel said causing Ariel to glare at her.

"Friends?, I think you are roommates darling don't push yourself unto him." Ariel said in a protective manner clearly displeased with what Mariel had said earlier.

Mariel semed to have come back to her senses as even she personally didn't know why she had unconsciously referred to Absalom as her friend.

She didn't even know when she had started to feel close to Absalom.

His dangerous and carefree attitude was a girl magnet asbshe realized that she was getting attracted to him. Unfortunately though, it seemed she wasn't the only one she said as she cast a side eye glance to Ariel

"We need to hurry, even though he's strong it's still risky going deep into the forest." Ariel said to Mariel.

"Yeah he's probably even low on mana after using that much" Mariel said.

Knowing Absalom, Ariel knew his mana was nowhere near exhausted as she remembered seeing more than a thousand points in mana, the last time she saw his status screen and she has a feeling it had even increased.

Running forward, their shock widened even more as they saw half dead level two and level beasts looking almost drained of their entire blood.

'Even now he's the one still taking care of me' Ariel frowned as she knew that the reason why these beasts were alive was because Absalom wanted them to have the kill and level up.

Putting her pride aside, she drew her blade and killed the beasts. Mariel also getting the gist of the situation pulled out her sword as well and killed some the beasts in her path.

Sure she felt shameful that she had to resort to such a way to improve her strength however she knew it would even be more foolish of her to not take advantage of this opportunity.

Running ahead they saw all sorts of beasts beaten and mangled all in similar states.

Their blood almost empty in their bodies.

Killing several beasts they had leveled up to level three as well.

Seeing her stats she saw the name of the person she hated the most in this world however, she was quite okay with everything in general. her power had increased significantly.

She improved her speed and dashed forward trying to get in sight of Absalom.

Ariel on the other hand had similar feelings, she killed the beasts, it hurt her pride however she still carried on with it.

She was level 1 just hours ago yet here she was, a level three now all due to Absalom.

She felt her heart stirr as she walked in deeper to see tens of beasts bound in blood chains.

It was indeed a horrible scary sight however she knew they were all on the verge of death, jumping high into the skies

They both reached level five as their hearts jumped out of their chest in joy.

'perhaps we are even stronger than Absalom now' they both realized that perhaps he wasn't even growing stronger as he was leaving the kills to them.

They heard a loud resonating explosion as they saw a figure flu past them crushing into a rock.

"Absalom " Mariel shouted as with her angelic eyes she had seen who had just been thrown away like that.

With his eyes glowing red and his wings spread out Absalom went on an uncontrollable killing spree as he felt something within him taking over.

The more he killed the more lives he wanted to take however he also made sure to leave off some beasts for Ariel and Mariel to level up.

He slashed, blasted, electrocuted every beast he saw in his path.

Realizing that he had killed left more than enough for them he began killing his opponents as well.

He had also reached level five and he knew that these stats now could take on level 7's although with a bit of effort.

He let his excitement get the best of him though as he attacked a beast not bothering to even check it's level or anything as he tried to blast it apart with his level three skill

Red lasers came straight out of his eyes as they hit the beast straight in the chest causing a huge cloud of dirt and smoke.

"What !' Absalom said in a horrified tone as he realized the beast was just fine.

With speed that he couldn't even react to he felt a strong force hit him straight in the chest causing him to fly backwards at a speed that was a blur to even someone like him.

Absalom cursed as he saw the level of the beast he was up against.

"Absalom" he heard Mariel's voice.

"Run away " Absalom shouted as he tried to stall the beast long enough for them to run.

Absalom activated everything possible however all these couldn't even slow the beast down as once more hit Absalom so powerful that he felt his chest cave in

Absalom saw his HP reach a critical level after receiving just two attacks from this beast.

Absalom's eyes immediately filled with fear as he saw the beast lock it's eyes on Ariel.
