Chapter 3

When I woke up this time Liam was sitting in the chair beside the bed reading the newspaper "Good Afternoon Ari" he said without looking up at me "My brother told me that you wanted to run away" Liam said as he folded the newspaper and set it on the nightstand "Where is Luke" I said as I looked around the room "I am afraid Luke is doing his daily hunting" Liam said as he walked over to the bed and sat down beside me "Luke said we are not to drink from you yet" Liam said in a deep voice as he placed a strand of hair behind my ear, I flinched then I regained consciousness and sprang out of the bed "Don't touch me!!!" I said as I put on my shoes "So I can't touch you but my dear brother can...I wonder what spell he put on you" Liam said as he stood from the bed "What do you mean" I said as I backed away toward the door slowly "I can't compel you" Liam said as he walked towards me, I then opened the door and ran out when I ran down the stairs I bumped into Luke he had no shirt on "Why such a rush princess" Luke said as he pulled me off his chest "Y..our brother" I tried to say, "What has my brother done this time" Luke asked as he looked up the stair case at his brother Liam "Ari go to your room" Luke said as he looked down at me, "But.." I started then seeing Luke's face as he was looking at his brother I knew they needed to be alone, as I walked up the stairs Liam grabbed me by my arm and whispered in my ear "We will finish this conversation very soon princess" Liam said as he let my arm go, I then ran to my room and shut the door, I walked over to the window and looked at the beautiful view that's when I heard a knock on the door when I turned around it was Luke he shut the door and walked slowly toward me "Are you okay" he asked in a worried voice "Yes" I said as I walked to the bed and sat down Luke sat down beside me and grabbed my hand "You know you don't have to be afraid of me" Luke said as he stroked my hand with his thumb, "Luke your a vampire" I said as I snatched my hand away "Ari I don't want to hurt you" Luke said as he reached for my hand again "Oh really so you just bought me from my dad so you could admire me" I said sarcastically "Ari do you want to leave if so just tell me and I will make it happen" Luke said as he stopped trying to reach for my hand "Yes I would love to leave" I said as I quickly hopped up from the bed, Luke then looked down at his hands and sighed "Alright then lets leave" Luke said as he stood from the bed as I followed Luke downstairs and to the front door I never felt happier inn my life, Luke opened the front door when I made it outside he shut the door not bothering to say goodbye or even make sure I made it some where safe, I walked to the driveway and looked down the long narrow road I was reminded of how my dad sped off leaving me just how Luke just closed the door not saying goodbye or making sure I was safe, as I turned to look at the house on more time I seen Luke watching me through the window of my old room I waved but he didn't wave back he just walked away, as I turned back around toward the road I started to walk but something felt wrong like I wasn't allowed to leave him, Luke, I felt like I was drawn to him I shock off the feeling and continued to walk, that when I heard Luke "Ari don't leave please" Luke said as he sat on his knees in the street begging, I turned around Luke had tears running down his face like his heart had been torn out, I started to walk toward him then I sprinted and collapsed in his arms "Don't leave" Luke said in a commanding voice, "Okay" I said, as we walked in the house Liam was sitting on the stairs "Luke thanks for saving the food" Liam said with a grin, my face went pale and I froze "Just joking princess calm down" Liam said as he got up and patted me on the back "So its official your staying" Luke said "Yes I guess it is"
