"Hmm… I will say we were partly responsible for the escalation of the earlier incident. That is why I am here to say sorry. I really shouldn't have forced you like that," Giavanna apologized with clenched teeth.
If not because what she wanted from this annoying guy was crucial to her everyday living, she wouldn't have lowered herself to apologize for what happened.
Would she have been forced to retaliate badly if he wasn't mean to her?
Instead of tendering apology too, Dominic averted his gaze to the field in front of him. He ignored her like he was fond of doing.
"Actually, even if we are not friends we can still have normal conversations, right?" Giavanna quizzed hoping that his response would be positive.
"I have nothing to say to you…"
"But I do," Giavanna blurted not letting Dominic go further. She used this opportunity to move closer to the porch rails where Dominic stood.
