Rosenstrauch Castle

Levannya began to say goodbye to them euphorically, shaking her hand and yelling at her parents that she would be fine asking them not to worry about her because she would study hard and make them proud...

After that bitter farewell, Levanya sat inside the carriage and wiped her eyes, luckily she hated using makeup otherwise she would have completely ruined it by now, Levannya wiped her face removing all remnants of tears and soon she could see Rosenstrauch castle opening its gates to let her carriage pass.

She look outside with surprise there were a lot of carriages arriving more than she imagined could be and above all a lot of people. Levannya was not a shy person but meeting new people for the first time who probably would have a much higher social status and would make fun of her... well, she was not the ready at all, besides she never knew what to say, and seeing that many already knew each other surely from studying the last year together she felt even more uncomfortable, she was a complete stranger to them and that left a bad feeling in her mouth... However, she soon hit her forehead a little and came back to herself.

Even though it was a difficult path, she always has to look at everyone with her head high, just as her father asked her to do, she should be strong and never let anyone make her feel less than she is.

She took a deep breath and contains it when it was her turn to get off the carriage.

"Well, here we go…"

She whispered to herself releasing slowly the air in her lungs, she opened the door and elegantly stepped down with a dignified posture, the one that a "lady" should have, she didn't want to embarrass her family. She only carried her card in her hand because when she had gone to the school with her parents they had explained to her what she had to do when she arrived on the first day.

Of course, her appearance drew a lot of attention, since the blonde hair was one of the rarest things around the world, not to mention golden eyes, there was a low population of almost 1% that have those features but thanks to that Levannya looked even more elegant and attractive.

Many might think that Levannya could be from a royal family even though she was actually just the daughter of a viscount. With silent steps, she walked to the entrance of the castle, and like everyone else she knock on the door waiting for it to be opened, some seconds later the door was lightly open revealing on the other side a beautiful girl with black hair and… red eyes? No, they were not …. Maybe Burgundy or at least a very dark brown-reddish...

"Good afternoon... I'm Levannya Darleen"

"Wait a minute" the girl searched in a list and when she found out the name of the girl she speak again "Welcome to the Black Rose academy Levannya, follow me"

"Y-Yes, thank you" Levannya was in a daze for a few minutes by the beauty of the young woman so when she talks Levannya come back to her sense.

"I'm Linae Rudeger, the president of the student council. If you have a problem with any teacher, student, or the facilities in the castle, come to me and I will help you solve it."

"Oh...Thank you very much" Vanya was really excited and nervous to be there.

She entered the castle, looking around, everything was amazing but she couldn't imagine how such a cool and beautiful girl was the president of that school, normally the boys always gain votes from their fans and the girls even if they were more suitable for the position they lost for that reason so she was really surprised and excited to see that difference in her new school.

Linae looked at Levannya from head to toe, there was something very intriguing in Levannya that attracted her attention and more for the strange expression that she had on her face.

"Can I have your letter of admission?"

Linae extended her hand to her, she could tell that the blond girl was a new student and was her first time in the castle because Levannya was looking at her waiting for her next words like a little puppy to be fed.

"Oh right, here you have" Levannya quickly handed that piece of paper to her.

Linae read the girl's name on the card and the ID number she had been given, the president guide her over to a large table with various things on it. There the first thing she looked for was an ID card from the school, a black card with Levannya's information written in silver ink, and a transparent envelope made of glass, it was the first time Levannya had seen something like that but for others, it was surely normal.

"This is your ID card, you can't walk around the castle without it, so don't forget to have it with you at any moment"

"All the time?"

"That's right if you want to enter the library or even in a class they could ask you for it but if you don't have it you can be considered an intruder"

"T-To that extend?"

"Ah… " Linae sighs after continuing with the explanation "Even though we have a security system a few years ago there were some incidents, some people who didn't receive an admission letter infiltrated the castle and show up in the classes until the evaluations came and they disappeared without saying anything"

"Did they disappear?"

"If any student of the Black Rose Academy didn't register their documents and don't have an admission letter, they can not take evaluations, do you see this?” Linae shows de ID number on her credential.

“Yes... What is it?”

“It's a number given to all the students here, all different from each other, and registered by hand for all the student council that is in charge of every student that had been admitted into the castle, if the student doesn't have this number we cannot make the list from the teachers and even if they take classes here in the evaluations their name would never appear in that list, that is why we implemented this method. If someone does not carry their identification, it will be retained for 5 hours until we verify the student's identity, if he or she is are a student here they will receive a penalty for breaking the rules"

"W-Wow…"

Make sure you don't lose it or you'll have to pay for a replacement"

"O-Okay"

Levannya was really in shock, how the hell had they implemented such a system? It seems very complicated but it wasn't so bad if it was for a good cause but Levannya thought it was a little exaggerated.

Her mind was a complete mess right now but she didn't have time to react when she heard Linae ask her to put her arms in front of her body. She obey and in a couple of seconds, she felt a mountain of books and notebooks in her arms but that wasn't all... There was also a small briefcase?

"These are your supplies for each class, during the first semester you only have to take three classes but don't think that because they are few you will have time to slack off. You must join an artistic and a sports workshop, in addition to that you must take at least one alternative course for the new students it can only be cooking or fencing."

"I-I understand" Vanya replied as she struggled not to drop anything.

Linae sighed looking at her, she approached the other and took half of her books in her hands, taking apart from that a couple of keys and a folder, also black? «What did these people have with that color?» that was what Levannya thought when she saw it. Fortunately, the castle looked quite normal and there were no black things, everything was gold and with some red touches; quite pleasing to the eye.

"Follow me I'll take you to your room"

"Ah…sorry to bother you"

"It's okay, you don't need to apologize, that's why I'm the president"

Linae didn't smile but her eyes softened and despite her serious and expressionless face, Levannya could feel that she was an amazing and caring person.

They walked a thousand years or that's how Levannya felt it, without counting a thousand stairs they climbed to get to the damn bedroom, she still didn't understand why she had to live there so taking advantage of the fact that the president was there with her, she didn't hesitate to ask.

"Is there a reason why students should live here?"

Linae opened the door to her room, oddly enough it was almost like her birthday 0815. Levannya sighs remembering that she couldn't pass her birthday with her family...

After the president entered the room she finally answered.

"It's safer for the students, after all, it's a nocturnal school"

"Oh I understand, it has more sen…."

«Wait for a second, what did she say?» she thought looking at the president with a shocked face.

Levannya think that she misheard Linae so she didn't ask anymore.

"On this side of the castle are the bedrooms for the girls, the opposite side is for the boys. Just to clarify the rooms are individual, you can't bring your boyfriend, friend, or also girlfriend to stay in your room"

Levannya burst into embarrassment at what the other was insinuating, she wanted to say that she wasn't like that but her voice didn't come out. She left the books on the bed looking at the whole place, curiously the room didn't look as scary as she imagined, and the sheets weren't black.

"As you can see, the room has a bed in perfect condition, a bathroom, a closet where you can hang your things, a small dresser, and a desk so you can study or do your homework."

"It's... quite huge, amazing"

With the futile pause of Levannya, Linae thought that she would receive one of the typical tantrums from rich kids about how the room was too small but it seemed that Levannya was very different, which pleased Linae.

"I'm glad you like it, this is the key to your room, please don't lose it, and finally here I have some documents that you must read and sign"

The other handed her that envelope with several documents, among which were the school regulations that she had to read carefully and sign, the notice of extracurricular activities for each workshop she will attend, and the form that she had to fill out when choosing the auxiliary course she will join.

"You can rest here until the opening ceremony, it will be at 6 pm, so you must arrive 15 minutes before or else they will close the auditorium, you must wear the uniform that was given to you"

Linae opened the closet in the room showing her that uniform, Levannya withdrew what she had said about that place wasn't gloomy, the uniform consisted of a long-sleeved white blouse with some ruffles and a black bow on the neck, it came with a long skirt with an integrated black corset, although it was very elegant and beautiful, it was still something strange. The outfit came with a black rose brooch where she could hang her credential.

"Oh…"

"Is there something wrong?" Linae asks her with some curiosity, normally the students get excited about the design of the uniform but Levannya looked at that outfit completely different.

"No, it's nothing…it's just that I've never seen a uniform…well, in that color"

"You know, you're the first one who doesn't get excited, well the uniform has a strong objective and history but I'll tell you later if it's okay with you, I still have to receive more students"

"Oh of course, sorry to keep you too long" Vanya mentioned with a nervous smile

Linae looked at the girl before approaching her to arrange one of her blonde locks behind her ear, the girl's fingers caressed her cheek a little while Levannya watched the opposite with some nervousness.

"Don't worry about it, and once again welcome to the Black Rose Academy, Levannya"

Vanya blushed a little at the girl's actions and her surprise showed on her face because for a moment Linae's eyes had glowed in an intense red tone that made Levannya feels a chill in her entire body.
