Chapter 18 Let's Go Together

Liu Hui and Tang Sufei were eating in the cafeteria, attracting envy from those around them.

The happy time passed quickly. After finishing their meal, Liu Hui and Tang Sufei chatted briefly before preparing to return to the classroom.

As they walked out of Chu City No. 1 High School's cafeteria, they were suddenly blocked by five strong and robust students.

Liu Hui and Tang Sufei exchanged glances and tightly held hands. Liu Hui asked the group of students in front of them, "What can I do for you, classmates?"

The leader of the group took a step forward and sneered, "Kid, even the members of our school basketball team haven't heard of you. Yet you dare to snatch our boss's girl!"

Upon hearing this, Liu Hui immediately understood that these people were targeting him because of Tang Sufei.

"This person is Jiang Li, a member of our school basketball team. He is Wu Bo's spokesperson in school. Whatever Wu Bo wants, he tells Jiang Li to handle it!"

"I didn't expect Wu Bo to act so quickly. Liu Hui is in trouble now!"

"No wonder they call him the Demon King of Chu City No. 1 High School. He gives people no time to prepare!"

Several students who followed Liu Hui and Tang Sufei out of the cafeteria were shocked when they saw the school basketball team.

They quickly stepped aside and watched from a distance, afraid of getting involved.

Tang Sufei also realized that these people were here to deal with Liu Hui because of her.

She was surprised and didn't even know who their leader was. She was about to confront them when Liu Hui stopped her.

Liu Hui couldn't let a girl face such a situation on his behalf. Since these people wanted trouble with him, he would face it alone.

Fearlessly, Liu Hui calmly said, "Who is your boss? Why hide in the shadows? If you have something to say, come at me alone. I, Liu Hui, will take it on."

Jiang Li glanced at Liu Hui in surprise. Liu Hui's attitude was unexpected.

Whenever someone heard about their school basketball team in the past, they either backed down or put up a futile struggle. No one had been as composed as Liu Hui.

"Our boss? You can find out by asking around in school. Since you're so courageous, come with us then! We'll teach you a lesson and make you understand whom you shouldn't mess with!" Jiang Li, cautious not to reveal too much, didn't give away any information, afraid of giving Liu Hui any leverage.

Tang Sufei anxiously looked at Liu Hui, tightly gripping his sleeve, trying to prevent him from going. She wanted to find a teacher to resolve the situation.

But Liu Hui knew that seeking help from a teacher would probably be futile. If they dared to confront him openly, they must have considered all the possibilities.

Even if they managed to avoid trouble this time, there would likely be a next time. It would be better to confront the problem now.

Liu Hui patted Tang Sufei's hand and reassured her, "Sufei, don't worry! This is the school; they won't dare go too far. Besides, haven't you forgotten how I scared off those scar-faced guys? Are these few people more formidable than the thugs on the streets?"

Recalling the night when Liu Hui fought off the scar-faced guys like a god, Tang Sufei breathed a sigh of relief and slowly released her grip on Liu Hui's sleeve.

"Where do you want to settle this? Lead the way! I don't have the time to play with you. I still have homework to do in the classroom!" Liu Hui spoke in a nonchalant tone, clearly not taking these individuals seriously.

Jiang Li was infuriated by Liu Hui's dismissive attitude and laughed out of frustration.

He blocked the few people behind him who were about to rush over to teach Liu Hui a lesson and said, "Well, kid! If you have the guts, then come along! We'll show you what's what!"

After finishing his words, Jiang Li walked towards a corner of Chu City No. 1 High School's sports field, and Liu Hui followed behind the five individuals.

Many students followed behind these six figures, keeping a distance but eagerly curious about the outcome.

"Ah! This Liu Hui is utterly ignorant. He's just asking for trouble by provoking Jiang Li and the others!"

"Perhaps he's fearless due to his inexperience!"

"A hero's life is short-lived. Even as a ghost, he would still be glorious! I think he wants to display his masculinity in front of the school flower!"

As they walked, the students behind Liu Hui discussed and disapproved of his actions, believing that he was courting disaster.

"Haha! Hou Shao, let's go over and see the commotion! Wu Bo's intervention was indeed swift, ruthless, and precise! I can't help but get excited when I imagine Liu Hui's bruised and swollen face!"

Apparently, Hou Liangsheng and a few others had already joined the crowd, watching the scene unfold.

The one who spoke was Cao Yuting from Class 8 of Grade 3. She had a smile on her face, as if she were the one lecturing Liu Hui.

Hou Liangsheng nodded upon hearing Cao Yuting's words. Liu Hui had embarrassed him in front of his subordinates several times, and he wanted to witness Liu Hui's miserable state.

Jiang Li led the way to a secluded corner next to the school's fence, away from the teaching building and with no passersby.

Even if something happened, by the time the teachers arrived, it should have already concluded.

"Alright! Let's settle it here!" Jiang Li stopped and the five basketball team members spread out, surrounding Liu Hui and leaving him no chance to escape.

"All of you, attack together! I hope this will teach you a lesson and you won't disturb Sufei's normal life anymore! Otherwise, don't blame me for being too ruthless when we meet next time!" Liu Hui prepared for a quick battle; his time was valuable. If it weren't for these individuals involving Tang Sufei, he wouldn't have bothered coming all this way to play this childish game with them.

"You arrogant brat! Brothers, attack together!" Although Jiang Li had prepared in advance, he was infuriated by Liu Hui's disregard, and he angrily shouted.

The members of the basketball team had been fond of playing basketball since they were young, regularly exercising and having a better physical condition than their peers.

Led by Jiang Li, the five of them attacked Liu Hui, some using punches, others using kicks.

Liu Hui looked at their attacks with a trace of disdain in his eyes. The strength behind their attacks was decent, not much different from the two thugs under Scar's command.

However, these five individuals attacked chaotically, without any sense of coordination. Their combined threat was far inferior to those two thugs from before.

Tang Sufei stood not far away, anxiously watching Liu Hui, ready to intervene. As soon as Liu Hui was injured, she would rush over to stop this group of school basketball team members.
