Unwanted Marriage: Honey, No More Divorce!
After three years of marriage, Wendy Stewart was used to Michael Lucas's sarcastic remarks, his frequent threats about getting divorced, and even his indulgence of a mistress. She thought that she could bear with this her entire life, until she accidentally got pregnant with a child that Michael did not want. Finally despondent, Wendy signed the divorce agreement and left. Michael then realized that he was hugging Leah too tightly. He immediately let go and said, "I'm sorry, Leah. It's all Daddy's fault. I'm sorry..."
Then, tears welled up in Michael's eyes.
He lowered his head and quickly wiped the tears off his face so Leah couldn't see them.
Leah quickly said, "Daddy, what's wrong? It's okay. I'm fine. It's just that you hugged me a little too tight. It's okay, Daddy. Why not hug me again? You can hug me as tightly as you want."
Leah thought that what she had said earlier made her dad upset.
Looking at how understanding his daughter was, he couldn't help but tear up again.
He pulled Leah into his arms again but remembered to hug her not too tight.
Leah gently patted Michael on the back with her small hands. She comforted, "It's okay, Daddy. It didn't hurt, really..."
Michael only let Leah go after quite some time.
