Still Alive?

The sun crests over the top of the buildings, shining brightly into Damien's room. He stirs as the sun shimmers through his window and constantly gets hit with small flashes of light. 

Bam, bam, Damien's feet land heavily on the floor. He stretches out with a big yawn. Damien slowly gets ready for his morning. Praying to his uncle and parents, drinking some apple juice, and grabbing a quick bite to eat. He heads on out to the academy.

Damien makes way to the Warping classroom, where he meets up with Veronica and Arnold. 

"Good morning." Damien says as he walks into the classroom. 

They both say good morning to Damien and Veronica approaches Damien.

"Are you alright? You haven't been here for a few weeks." Veronica says in an unsettled voice.

Damien nods, "All better! I got into a scuffle with Tyler, and a few other guys." 

Veronica observes Damien for a few seconds before sitting down next to him and listening to Arnold's lecture.

"Now that we're all here, I would like to go over some of Warping Magic with you all! First and foremost, Warping Magic is extremely dangerous and should be used with caution and be wise with how you use it. You could potentially distort reality or make the world shift if you use too much power. Now not to scare anyone, but that does consume magic that no living being has been able to manifest since Warping magic existed but doesn't mean it can't happen!"

Arnold shifts around the room as he rambles about how dangerous warping magic is and how careful people must be while using it. 

"Now I'm going to talk about a nice little magic I use myself, it's called Gravitational Pull. This little magic allows you to increase gravity in any direction. You can cause your opponents to weigh twice if not thrice what they currently weigh right now causing them much difficulty moving or even standing. To use this magic, you must envision a black ball around you and focus on making that black ball glow as much as you can with your magical power. Then once you feel it's ready you can send magic out in any direction and once you create a link you can drop the magic and that will make gravity do its thing." Arnold chuckles. 

"Let me show you." Arnold emits magical power, and he starts to emit a yellowish aura surrounding his body. Within a few seconds the air pressure around everyone gets heavy. Everyone's head drops, besides Damien's. He stares back at Arnold as his eyes have a blue radiance. 

Arnold gives him a smirk, "Alright, everyone that's what it's like! Now use this with caution we will be attempting these on dummies in the training arena. So, will you all come with me now."

Arnold releases his magic, and everyone follows him to the arena.

Arnold pulls Damien off to the side as the rest enter the arena. 

"Boy, how's the control of the orb's power going? It seems you're getting better." 

Damien nods, "Yeah, it's getting easier ever since that incident with Tyler." 

Arnold observes Damien for a second, "Tyler, are you the one that did that to him?"

Damien nods "Of course, he hurt me and my friends, it would have been me if I hadn't done anything."

Arnold puzzled by what Damien said, "What do you me it would have been you? You make it sound like you killed him."

Damien steps back staring into Arnold's eyes for a second, "Well, I think I did after all there was nothing left of the place." 

Arnold shakes his head, "He's still alive you know. Tyler has been coming to school, he looks just as bad as you but he's here."

Damien face drops, "No way! How?!-" Damien pauses for a second, contemplating whether this is a good thing or not. He looks back up at his teacher with a smile. "Thanks for letting me know." 

Damien walks into the arena where he meets up with Veronica.

Veronica and Damien practice Gravity Pull on the dummies and they both expeditiously grasp the power.

As Damien is walking back to his dorm, Jessica, Lauren, and Emmy stop him. 

"Hey, Damien!" Lauren shouts. "You said you wanted to talk to us today about Ariel, and that bastard Tyler. You were going to tell us what had happened."

"Yeah, we need to know!" Jessica pleads to Damien.

Emmy just nods her head in agreement with the other two.

"Alright, alright. I'll tell you but you must promise me one thing! Do NOT get involved. I have an idea on what needs to be done already so just let me handle this, as he made this personal."

The girls nodded in agreement.

Damien goes into detail about what had transpired between Tyler and him for the last few weeks, and what had happened to Ariel that frightful night. 

"Oh my god! That fucker!" Lauren shouts at the top of her lungs. 

Jessica and Emmy crying as they hugged each other. 

"Now I told you girls because you deserve to know but remember your promise and I promise you all that this will be settled very VERY soon."

Damien starts walking away as the girls comfort themselves.

"They have each other, they should be fine." Damien thinks to himself as he continues to walk away from them.

-Back in Damien's Dorm-

Damien gets changed and puts on a more practical outfit. This outfit is a sleeveless shirt, with sweatpants and some comfortable sneakers. The clothes look plain but they're good enough to move in.

"Time to head out and get some answers!"

Damien leaves.

Damien makes for the Town center where he had met both Tyler and Spencer.

Once he is there, he recognizes a face, Spencer! He approaches him.

"Hey! Spencer." Damien says as he stands just a few feet away from him.

Spencer turned around and was shocked to see Damien. 

"Wh-what are you doing here?" Spencer says as he starts to compose himself.

"I'm here for your friend, Tyler." Damien speaks through his teeth as the word Tyler comes out of his mouth and he clenches his fist so tight you can hear the knuckles crack. 

Spencer observes Damien for a few seconds, and then starts laughing, "Ha! You are an imbecile." Spencer shaking his head, starts getting closer and closer to Damien as he stands toe to toe with the man. "I ain't tell you shit."

It's as if the air around them freezes, both staring each other down. Not a word has been spoken for several seconds now and then Spencer breaks the silence.

"You've gotten your ass kicked by him twice now, are you looking for punishment? Are you one of those types?!" Spencer starts laughing as he takes a step back, pointing at Damien.

Damien eyes start radiating a blue hue, but Spencer is too involved in himself to notice the change.

"Spencer, are you going to tell me or not?" Damien says in a calm tone.

Spencer looks at him "Nice color. And no, I'm not." Spencer throws a punch at Damien and hits him square in the stomach making Damien bend forward which then Spencer sends a knee to Damien's face hitting him and sending him backward landing on his ass.

"You know, you're good for something Damien. No matter how much you get beat down, you always get back up. You should look into becoming a-" before Spencer is able to finish his sentence the air starts crackling around him and the pressure on his body starts increasing at such a rapid speed he falls into a prone condition. 

"Wh-Wh-What th-the hell is go-going o-on!" Spencer barely stutters the words out as he's getting crushed into the ground.

"I asked nicely, and you retaliate by striking me not once but TWICE!" Damien stands up as he slowly approaches Spencer. 

"Now I'm going to ask you again, where the fuck is TYLER!" Damien is shouting at Spencer at this point.

Spencer lifts his head up, looking at Damien for a second. "Heh. You are so dumb." 

Damien steps back as he sees Spencer slowly standing up.

"Impressive to stand against this much." Damien gets ready for Spencer to attack.

Spencer shouts out. "AH!!!!" As he does this, he releases magical energy dissipating the Gravity Pull. 

"You're dead for this, Damien!" Spencer charges as Damien, casting enhancement magic on himself.

Spencer throws a few jabs and a big haymaker at Damien, but he swiftly dodges them, grabs Spencer in an arm bar and throws his face into the dirt. Damien stomps Spencer's face into the dirt a couple times before a loud thunderous sound can be heard and Damien body gets thrown back about 15 feet.

Damien lays on the ground gasping for air as smoke slowly rises out of his chest. 

Spencer walks up to him, "How'd you like my surprise spell! You made one fatal mistake, boy. Tyler is nothing compared to me." Spencer repeatedly kicks Damien in the ribs.

Damien lets out a cry of pain as one of the kicks seems to snap his ribs. But this just angers him even more and Damien grabs Spencer by the ankle. 

"Fuck!!! YOU!!!!" Damien shouts as he throws Spencer around like a rag doll, slamming him into the pavement. "I'm done holding back! I'm done! I'm done!! I'M FUCKING DONE!!!!" Damien throws Spencer into a glass window across the street, shattering it.

"Spencer! You've fucked up." Damien says as lightning courses through his fingers.

Once Spencer stands up Damien sends lightning right at Spencer. He ducks out of the way and charges at Damien. 

"Ah!!! I'll fucking kill you!" Spencer shouts as a black aura manifest around him. Once it's all around his body two long black tentacles emerge and fly toward Damien.

  He attempts to dodge out of the way but one of the tentacles grasp Damien by the leg and throws him into a truck damaging it severely and Damien.

"You're dead, Damien! and No one is going to stop me!" Spencer charges at Damien but Damien instantly teleports or what seems to be teleportation, but Damien uses his Gravity pull to launch himself forward at incredibly high speed. Damien elbow slams into Spencer's body cause blood, vomit, and mucus to expel from Spencer's body. He gets sent flying into the nearby building. 

Damien breathing heavily. "Damn, that has some impact my body is numb all over." He slowly approaches where Spencer is lying unconscious. 

"Damn, now I gotta wait for him to wake up."
