"Master Harry, why did you leave the Capital?" Alan asked curiously.

Harry who was walking infront of them, stopped suddenly and looked as if he was contemplating about something. Then he turned his head behind with a sad smile, " May be some other time Alan, not today, not today." After that he started walking again and the others followed him silently.

When they reached the entrance of the building, they met Rodrick. He informed them that their living quarters will be ready by the next day. They all agreed to move in after the entrance exams in three days.

Harry gave Rodrick the name and location of the inn they were staying in and asked him to come and join for the dinner, to which Rodrick agreed happily and took his leave.

After exiting the university Harry let out a long breath and asked, "Where next guys?"

"Master Harry, do you know where Master Remus's smithy is? I have to deliver him the letter from Master Steve." Alan took out few letters and showed it to Harry.

Harry noded and gestured them to follow him. After almost an hour of travel on horse back, they reached a large but unadorned house made of red brick. A huge chimny was spewing dark smoke and clanging of hammer on the anvil was heard coming from the smithy. Alan smiled at the familiar sound remembering the time he was working with master Steve.

They all tied their horses at the stable and Harry tossed a silver coin at the stable boy, who pocketed it happily and started to keep water for the horses.

The entrance looked like a store front and a store assistant was standing behind the counter with a smile.

Welcome esteemed guests, how may I help you today?" An elegent and beautiful looking young lady around 18 years asked them politely.

"We would like to see Master Remus." Alan politely replied to her. The shop assistant looked a bit taken aback. Sir's do you have an appointment? Without that, he will not be seeing anyone." She informed them.

Alan took out a letter and handed it over to the assistant." Miss, can you show it to Master Remus, I believe he would want to see us after reading this. Please inform him that we are form Winden city."

The assistant still looking a bit skeptical, went inside the smithy. Within a few minutes, A man, looking in his sixties came out and looked intently at them. The girl followed behind him looking confused.

She had never seen Master Remus so exited and stopping his work inbetween to entertain unknown guests.

Remus looked at Harry first and inclined his head. "Grandmaster Harry, Its been a very long time since we met. And yet you remain the same as the day we last saw each other."

At his words the assistant started and gasped. "Master Remus, is he..... Is he the swordmaster. The Grandmaster Harry?"

"Yes Daisy. He is...."

Daisy started to apologize to Harry profoundly. Sighing, Harry went towards Daisy, took her by the shoulders and looked her in the eye." Daisy right. I am just a normal person so no need to do all these bowing and scrapping alright?" Once she noded, he let her go and inclined his head at Remus.

"Hello grandmaster Remus, nice to meet you again."

"This is Alan, he is the one who wanted to meet you." Harry pointed his finger at Alan. Alan bowed deeply and then handedover the remaining letters to Remus.

"Master Remus, I was able to lean the basics of swords making from Master Steve. When I told him about my journey to the capital, he asked me to deliver these letters to you.

Remus took the letter from Alan's hands with a smile. "Lad how old were you when you apprenticed under Steve?"

"I was 12, master Remus." Alan told truthfully.

Suddenly Remus remembered something and facepalmed." Daisy dear, please arrange some tea and something to eat along with it for all of our guests. We will be in my room."

After that, Remus invited everyone inside to his room and offered them seats. As soon as everyone took seats, he eagerly started reading the letters from Steve. After around 10 minutes, Daisy brought a pot of steaming hot tea and some sweet bread along with it and started serving it to everyone.

They all took the tea cup thanking Daisy.

After serving, Daisy stood behind them near the door with a cup of tea in her hands silently.

After reading the letter, Remus looked at Alan curiously. "Lad can I have a look at the sword you had forged?"

Alan looked at Daisy before taking it out. Understand his concern, Remus smiled. "Don't worry lad, she is my granddaughter. No need to worry about the news getting out."

Alan noded and took out his star metal sword and handedover it to Remus. Remus looked at the sheeted weapon and then at Alan in surprise. "You forged this when you were 12 year?!" When Alan noded in confirmation, he drew out the blade from its sheath. The black blad sent a chill through Daisy, who shivered visibly with suppressed fear.

After inspecting it carefully for a few minutes, Remus noded in appreciation. "Nicely done lad. I can rank this in top hundred blades I had seen or made in my life."

After handing over the sword back to Alan, they all sat and started a casual conversation, again making Daisy to wonder who these guests were!
