The journey back was a pleasant one. An unbreakable bond was developing between all nine of them. Irene started to admire all the boys more and more everyday. Especially Dave!!!
It was sixteen days since they had gone and the Healing hall setup was coming along pretty well. The boys shared some extremely rare herbs and even rare beast blood and bones which were gathered during their training. Helen was shocked to her core to see so many rarest of rare ingredients. The ingredients provided by the boys made even this unfinished healing hall the most valuable one in the entire Winden region.
Once the healing hall was set up, the girls started their training with Helen. Rose found that, when it comes to teaching, Helen was a strict and unyielding teacher.
Bob, Ben and Dave also started practicing healing arts along with the girls. But soon the girls found out that they were not even close to the knowledge or the abilities these boy's posses.
Surprisingly, all six boys surpassed many master healers in their knowledge of medicinal and herb lore. Williams was the best non magical healer they had ever seen. Almost as knowledgeable as Helen herself. Chris and Alan, in particular, were in a league of their own. Even in handling delicate cases, Helen would turn to these two boys, who navigated challenging situations with ease, as if taking a leisurely stroll through a garden on a cool evening.
In addition to their proficiency in the healing arts, all six boys diligently practiced combat and weapons skills every day.
Intrigued, the girls decided to sneak a glimpse into the boys' training session, typically held in a closed room. The fear, shock, and thrill they experienced that day witnessing the boys' training methods transformed their perception. Their respect for the boys multiplied significantly.
To their chagrin, the boys had known their presence. Dave opened the door with a goofy smile and invites them in to sit comfortablely and watch. And they even told the girls that they had dialed down their training method by a lot to make the girls follow their movements.
Intrigued, " What do you mean by dialed down? Can you please show the actual training?" Irene pleaded,
to which Dave and Bob took out the fighting stans and when they took a step forward, they looked as if they had disappeared and the girls could only hear grunts and sounds of firsts connecting to the flesh.
Their mouth were almost dropped to the ground in shock and awe. After a few min, Dave few out and landed hard on the ground with a thud, blood trickling down the corner of his mouth .
Bob was standing calmly folding his arms infront of his chest a few feet away from him. Dave got up smiling, but the girls ran towards Chris afraid that he might have gotten hurt. Irene even took out her handkerchief and wiped the corner of his mouth with concern.
Once they calmed down, they noticed everyone smiling. Why are you all smiling. He is hurt, Rose asked in confusion.
Dave laughed and ruffled her hair, Princess Rose, I am alright don't worry. It's just the way how the practice happens when we carryout with full force.
After that all three girls wanted to learn combat arts from them. "Big brother, can you teach me the combat arts." Rose clung to Alan's arms and pleaded. "Brother Al, please teach me too." Lilly also pleaded,"me too...." I also want to learn, Irene also joined the other too in pleading.
Alan looked at other guys who also looked to be taken aback by the sudden request from these girls. Alan scratched his head, " Let me put this across the adulys at sinner tonight. If they agrees, then we don't mind training you."
That night during dinner, Williams informed Everyone else about the wish of these girls to learn the combat arts. Even though Lilly was good in the basics, she lacked life experience and the other two were almost new to it.
Everyone was happy and were infavor of the girls learning as many things as they can.
This lead the boys to prepare a schedule for the girls.
They had an hour of combat practice in the morning, followed by breakfast, then an hour of learning from Elizabeth. After that 2 hours of learning at the healing hall then lunch after that again three hours at the healing hall attending the patients, helping the healers and watching others perform healing. Evening was ment for arts, music and a bit of relaxation. Then dinner and family time and sleep.
