The big cats gift...

The beast came back in just a minute. It was holding a large amethyst crystal in its mouth. It dropped it infront of Alan. Licked his face and head again making him feel tingly.

"There is no need for this. Take care of yourself and the cub. If I ever come to misty mountains, we shall meet again." Alan said with a fond smile. As the phanther started to turn, Alan called out, "By the way, is it ok if my sisters and a friend touches you?"

It cocked its head and then looked at Alan Intently and purred like an agreement. Grinning widely, Alan beaconed the girls forward. The boys and Harry, came along wit them.

The cat, purred at Harry, " Ah don't mention it. Its no big deal fo me too."

Everyone looked at Harry with a puzzled expression. Harry felt stunned. He looked around, " Did I guesses it right, that, it wanted to thank me for bringing you the news?" He asked Alan in shock and surprise.

Alan noded in agreement. Harry grinned. "Don't worry everyone. It was a fluke

I definitely can't speak with any beasts. That can only be done by this freak here." Harry jerked his thumb towards Alan.

After sighing, they came near to the beast. With fear, exitement and a bit of hesitation, Rose stretched her hand first, and stopped before touching the beast.

The big cat sat down and brought its head towards her hand. As soon as she touched it Rose was astonished by the silky texture of its fur. "Wow she feels so smooth."

After rubbing its head for a few seconds, Rose happily smiled and thanked the beast for letting her touch and stepped aside. Then came Lilly she was a bit bolder than Rose, being an adventurer, she had seen a few beasts up close. She was also amazed by how silky and flawless its fur was. Then Irene touched it and felt the same way. "So soft." she murmured then stepped aside.

All the boys came and had a few moments with the beast, telling it to take care and reach its home safely. The beast finally rubbed her face on Alan's body affectionately again and took off into the darkness. It disappeared like a ghost in the night.

Alan sighed, shook his head smiling, then looked at the stone it had dropped and picked it up. He was shocked to see such a big energy stone. It was almost the size of Rose's first.

Alan grinned and looked at Helen and said excitedly. " Grandma, you are getting a long pending upgrade."

Helen was puzzled at Alan's words. Then Alan held the stone in front of her.

Helen was shocked beyond belief. "How.... how can....?

"It was the beast, she gave it to me. I think it will be much more useful in your hands than mine grandma. Once fully induced with mana, I believe it is capable eenough to treat more than 1000 gravely wounded people.

Everyone was shocked at this revelation. "Then its..... its.... " Samuel was unable to complete his sentence.

Alan noded, "Yes your grace. It's at least at the sky level.

"But dear, how can I store so much energy in that stone? We need atleast 300 people with high level mana affinity. And I don't know even if I can be able to use the energy of others. Or if we need only healing magic.

Hmmm... Chris mused for a few seconds and said, "We can test that now itself. Lets get into the hall."

Curious and integrated to see the use of mana, everyone followed them. Once inside and after everyone settled down, Chris looked around to see everyone present.

" Your grace, my lady it will take some tome to test and get a conclution, so if you are felling tired please feel free to proceed to your rooms." Chris bowed at Samuel and Lillian.

"Thats fine child, we also want to witness the process." Lillian smiled and said. Samuel nodding along.

Chris noded and took the stone from Alan and induced his mana into the stone. Then gave it to Helen.

Grandma, can you try to use it now?

"Helen was surprised to see Chris using healing magic. Chris dear, you can already use your mana?"

Chris noded and smiled warmly.

"But you are not even 18 my child." Jean asked in surprise.

This news was a real shock for the Duke's family . Samuel and Victor exchanged shocked glances. They thought, all of these boys would atleast be 19 years or even 20 years. But never in their wildest dreams they had imagined these boys to be less than 18 years.
