Healing the Adventurers

"A guard came running in. What's the matter Dean?" Duke asked.

"Almost all of our adventurer guards are here your grace. They are here to meet a miracle doctor itseems." The guard looked puzzled.

All three at the table looked at Alan who smiled sheepishly. "I had informed the retired adventurers to meet me if they are suffering from any permanent disabilities or suffering from any internal injuries."

Kristina remembered it and nodded her head. "Of course I was the one who told them to come here." She facepalmed.

"Inform them to wait at the castle's healing room. The gealer will meet them there in a few minutes. "

The guard bowed and went out to relay the Duke's words to the arrived guards.

Alan took his leave along with Kristina who took him to the healing hall.

It was a sight to behold. Everyone who came out of the healing hall had a wide smile and tears of joy in their eyes. Many were even jumping with joy. More than 30 people left that day happily after getting their Injuries healed. Promising to treat again the next day, Alan concluded his treatment for the day. It was late afternoon when Alan and Kristina returned back to the dining hall after cleaning themselves for dinner.

Duke Ravenheart and Lady Dyna were waiting for them. Both of them welcomed Alan and their daughter with wide smiles.

Dyna after sleeping and having some solid food looked much better. Alan took her hand, checked her pulse and then nodded in satisfaction.

"There is no doubt about a complete recovery my Lady. Have food whenever you feel hungry for next few days and take the medicine I had prescribed. "

Dyna smiled and hugged Alan tears in her eyes. "Thank you so much dear. If not for you my whole family would have been doomed. We owe you a lot. I don't know how to thank you."

Even the Duke had tears in his eyes." Dyna is correct Alan. We don't know how to thank you. You haven't saved only us, but, the people whom you treated today, had swore their loyalty and their life to my family. I feel so overwhelmed, you are truely the savior of the whole Delta city."

Alan smiled. " I just did what needs to be done. And as for treating the adventurers, it's my duty. Being an adventurers I always value those who put their life in line to save others."

Kristina wanted to ask something but, looked slightly hesitant. Observing this Alan raised an eyebrow.

"Alan, who are you truely? You told you are a traveller, then you turned out to be a Swordmaster. You even turned out to be a Miracle Healer. No, a Miracle Grand Healer. Now you are claiming to be an Adventurer. You can even talk to beasts like a friend and travel with one of them. Who exactly are you?"

Both the Duke and his wife looked stunned. " You travel with a wild beast? Are you a Beast tamer too?"

Alan smiled sheepishly. He felt that there is no harm in telling them about him as he knew these infront of him were good people.

"I am all that what you said Lady Kristina."

"Please call me Kristina,. You are our savior."

Alan smiled and bowed. " My name is Alan Morgan. I am a traveller from Pheonix Kingdom."

All three of the Ravenheart family looked stunned. " You.... you travelled all the way from Pheonix kingdom?! It's..... it's unbelievable!!!" The Duke almost felt speachless.

"How far is the Pheonix Kingdom father?" Kristina asked curiously.

" If you start travel from Delta city and travel every day from dawn till dusk, you might reach the border of the Pheonix Kingdom in 2 years. However, the treacherous terrain and what not in-between from here to Phoenix kingdom needs at least an army to bring you safe from start to end."

Katrina looked completly flabbergasted and looked at Alan. With doubt, shr asked, " Alan, I remember you saying that, you were travelling from six months?!"

Alan nodded his head embarrassed. " Yes, I am travelling from past Six or Seven months."

The room fell completely silent at his words.....
